How to get Netflix and LEGO’s new Wednesday toy sets
As a die-hard fan of all things macabre and mysterious, I can’t help but be thrilled about LEGO’s new Wednesday-inspired toy sets! Having grown up with the Addams Family, these sets are like stepping into my own gothic dreams come true.
LEGO is releasing three new Wednesday-inspired toy sets to get you in the mood for season two.
Build a replica of the main characters’ dorm room, featuring Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) and her roommate Enid Sinclair (portrayed by Emma Myers), from the popular Netflix series, for fans to recreate at home.
The Wednesday Addams action figure includes alternate facial expressions and wardrobes, enabling fans to reenact Wednesday’s dark school attire and the striking black organza gown she wore during the dance scene at Nevermore Academy’s Rave’N.
This 702-piece collection features the gate of Nevermore, a typewriter, the burial site of Nero (our pet scorpion), black dahlia blossoms, a crystal orb, and secret storage areas.
Every Wednesday gathering is incomplete without Thing, her constant companion, so a fresh LEGO part for a hand has been included, bearing the additional marks of battle scars.
Go ahead and secure your Wednesday Addams LEGO figure right now! It’s available for pre-order at the LEGO Store in the UK for £44.99 or $49.99 in the United States. The delivery will start from October 1st.
Coming next is Wednesday, followed by the Enid’s Dorm Room building set, which consists of 750 pieces. This set features a constructable room complete with its distinctive spiderweb window, a balcony adorned with gargoyles, and a base equipped with buttons to reveal secret drawers.
This collection additionally features four miniature doll representations, two each for both Wednesday and Enid variations, along with a cello, typewriter, mystery board, and Thing – all essential items for reenacting your preferred moments from Nevermore.
I’m thrilled to share that the LEGO Dorm Room Set is now available for pre-order! In the UK, it’s priced at £79.99, while in the US, it’s $89.99. Keep an eye on your mailbox starting October 1st as this fantastic set will begin shipping then!
Less experienced builders too have the opportunity to acquire the latest Wednesday and Enid BrickHeadz set, brimming with delightful features inspired by the popular TV series.
The 239-piece building set includes Wednesday in her iconic black dress, while Enid sports a colourful jumper.
After construction, these figures can be positioned on a display base for viewing, standing approximately 8cm above the platform. Currently, this set isn’t open for pre-order at the LEGO Store; however, its price is expected to be around £17.99 in the UK and $19.99 in the US. The release date for this item is scheduled for October 1.
Raquel Ojeda Gregorio, the Creative Lead at LEGO Group, shared her enthusiasm for the latest collection in a public announcement.
On Wednesdays, it’s now synonymous with popular culture, boasting a devoted following and an enthralling protagonist. I found it invigorating to work on creating something that true fans of the show would truly enjoy,” she expressed.
We aimed at preserving the distinctive charm of Wednesday and providing LEGO fans with a means to delve deeper into her realm by creating collectible items. This would enable them to become even more engrossed in her universe.
It’s not just LEGO that has introduced a line inspired by ‘Wednesday’. Mattel too, in anticipation of the second season, has unveiled a fresh range of Monster High dolls.
The latest assortment features not one but two exclusive Wednesday Addams figurines, accompanied by her vibrant friend, Enid, as well. Each figure comes equipped with a supportive base, complete outfits, and additional accouterments.
Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
