As a devoted fan, I must admit that Misato, although not a premium character behind a paywall, stands out as a rare SR entity among my collection. Interestingly, she’s the sole character from the quartet who isn’t SSR. Regardless, this cherished Misato can only be mine if I manage to secure her during the Limited-Time Recruitment event.

How to get Misato in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE? (Release date)

In the game “Goddess of Victory: NIKKE,” one of the main characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Misato Katsuragi, will be available for players to control. However, she can only be acquired during a limited-time event called Pick Up Recruitment, which is set to run from August 22nd to September 19th, 2024.

As a dedicated gamer diving into the NIKKE x Evangelion collaboration, I’ve got some exciting news! To welcome Misato into your gaming roster, make sure to participate in all the event activities first. Once you’ve completed them all, she’ll be yours forever, ready for action as a playable SR character!

In the Rebuild series, Misato Katsuragi didn’t significantly evolve as a character compared to how she was portrayed in the original Evangelion anime. Yet, she is one of the main characters from the anime, often playing the role of caregiver towards Shinji Ikari in various ways. Her strong, maternal persona (alongside her drinking struggles) resonated with many fans, leading to her being included in this collaboration by Shift Up.

As an avid fan, I’m thrilled about the NIKKE x Evangelion collaboration! This amazing partnership offers four unique playable characters to choose from. Remarkably, the legendary Misato Katsuragi is one you can recruit without any cost. The full roster also includes Asuka Langley, Rei Ayanami, and Mari Makinami. Interestingly, they’ve all been designed based on their Rebuild versions!

The temporary recruitment event titled “The Ark Defense Battle: It’s (Impossible) to Escape” offers additional unique skins as well. Previously, Shift Up has revealed that some of these skins are for SSR characters, with Asuka Shikinami Langley’s skin becoming available from August 22 until the event’s conclusion. Players can acquire them using the Costume Gacha system.
