As a die-hard fan of the “A Quiet Place” franchise, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming release of “A Quiet Place: Day One” limited-edition 4k Steelbook boxset! Growing up in a small town where horror movies were our only escape from the mundane, these films have always held a special place in my heart.
A Quiet Place: Day One will be getting a limited-edition 4k Steelbook boxset.
1. The upcoming horror prequel featuring Lupita Nyong’o has revealed its streaming, Blu-ray, and now Steelbook release details. Excitingly, this collection is currently available for only £29 on Amazon!
At HMV and Zavvi, you can get the limited edition Steelbook version for a slightly higher price of £34.99. The extra perks and launch date are yet to be revealed.
1. In the initial phase of the extraterrestrial invasion depicted in the first two A Quiet Place movies, a spinoff produced by John Krasinski unfolds. (or)
In a captivating role, Lupita Nyong’o, an Oscar laureate, portrays Samira, a gravely ill woman, who is required to remain silent in order to evade the detection of sightless extraterrestrial beings.
In the prequel, Joseph Quinn from “Stranger Things,” portrays a law student who becomes friends with Sam and her pet cat named Frodo. Additionally, Alex Wolff from “Oppenheimer” and Djimon Hounsou known for his role in “Rebel Moon,” appear in secondary parts.
John Krasinski, a key figure behind the creation, direction, and acting in the initial two installments of “A Quiet Place“, was the producer for this prequel narrative.
Michael Sarnoski, a filmmaker known for working with pigs, wrote the script and helmed the direction of “A Quiet Place: Day One.” Hollywood heavyweight Michael Bay served as a producer on this project, collaborating with Sarnoski and John Krasinski.
Recently, Sarnoski proposed an idea for a new installment of “A Quiet Place” titled “A Quiet Place: The Heroic Tale of Frodo,” focusing on the brave feline character.
1. He said to Variety, “It would be straightforward for you to catch up with prequels or sequels featuring any of the characters.” Later, he jokingly hinted, “You know, I often imagine a musical animated version of Frodo traversing this world, so that’s always an option.”
From the start, “A Quiet Place” raked in an impressive $253.7 million at the global box office. Consequently, it’s reasonable to expect that this franchise will carry on in some capacity.
A Quiet Place: Day One is out now in cinemas.
