Wondering how to get a bicycle in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen? This guide will show you how!
As a long-time Pokémon fan, I always remember how crucial the bicycle was in the older games – it really let you zip around the map! But honestly, with all the new ways to travel they’ve added over the years, it feels a little less important now. With FireRed and LeafGreen finally coming to the Switch, I’ve been seeing a lot of people asking how to actually get a bike in those games, and it got me thinking about how much things have changed!
Well, here is a guide on how to get a bicycle in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.

Okay, so a lot of people ask how to get tons of money in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Honestly, you can’t really save a huge amount. Your wallet maxes out at $999,999. But don’t worry, you can still get a bike! You don’t need to worry about earning enough money to buy one. Instead, you get a Bike Voucher, and when you trade that in at the shop, they just give you a bicycle. It’s way easier than grinding for cash!
Where do you get a Bike Voucher, though?
How to get a Bike Voucher in Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen
If you want a bike in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, you’ll first need to obtain a Bike Voucher, which you can then trade for a bicycle. But where do you actually find this voucher?
Getting a bike is simple! After leaving Cerulean City, head to Vermillion City and visit the Pokémon Fan Club – it’s a house on the west side of town. Inside, you’ll meet the Chairman, who will share a story with you. Once he’s finished, he’ll give you a Bike Voucher.
Simply head back to Cerulean City to exchange the voucher for a bicycle. Happy cruising!
