The lead singer of Black Sabbath sadly passed away after dealing with several health issues over time, such as recovery from addiction, numerous back surgeries, and a long-term fight against Parkinson’s disease.

Regardless of his poor health over the past few years, the musician consistently showed no hesitation in being with his fans. Most notably, Osbourne performed with his original Black Sabbath bandmates just weeks before his demise, at the Villa Park Stadium for a farewell concert.

Based on information from a trusted insider who has known the legendary rock figure for many years, it appears that the final concert was simply Ozzy Osbourne bidding adieu to his stage performances.

Actually, he had been intending to launch a fresh album towards the end of the year and was eagerly looking forward to teaming up again with his regular partner, the acclaimed music producer Andrew Watt.

According to our source, Ozzy regarded Villa Park as a final performance venue during his live shows, rather than marking the end of his career.

This year found him with a memoir, an album, and television projects keeping him quite busy. He’s always saying, “This isn’t the end yet… I still have tasks ahead.

This autumn, the book entitled “Last Rites” – an account of his life and career – is set for release. It will delve into his personal journey, encompassing his long-standing marriage with loyal partner Sharon Osbourne, along with his most recent battles with health issues.

Osbourne was not only working on a full-length documentary for Paramount Plus titled “Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now,” but also preparing for a new BBC reality series, “Home To Roost,” featuring his family.

A trusted friend confessed that Osbourne appeared eager to share his memoir with the public later in the year, and described the entire experience as both therapeutic and enjoyable.

‘People said he was naturally gifted for entertaining, and despite facing numerous health issues like neck, back, and leg aches, Parkinson’s disease, and other challenges in his later years, he managed to shine on television, radio, and stage.’

In his 76th year, it was the apprehension of fading into anonymity that drove Osbourne to remain center stage for numerous decades, despite periods marred by scandals and substance abuse issues.

As reported by a close friend, Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary singer of Crazy Train, was deeply affected by the passing of his father, John Thomas ‘Jack’ Osbouron, who died in 1977 not long after retiring.

In the heart of Birmingham, England, Osbourne was raised in a hardworking, modest household, sharing this experience with his five other siblings, in the district of Aston.

Lilian, his mom, worked during the day at a Lucas automotive factory putting together car parts, whereas his father held a job as a toolmaker at the General Electric Company, working through the nights.

An informant disclosed that John spent his entire life diligently working night shifts at the General Electric Company. After his retirement, it was mere days later that his father sadly passed away.

According to their memory, all he shared with the family beforehand was gardening tasks. A few days later, after working on the garden, he suddenly passed away without warning.

Ozzy observed that although his own workload was demanding, John seemed driven by the need to go to work to support his family and maintain a sense of purpose. When this drive was missing, it left John feeling disoriented or adrift.

1978 saw Ozzy Osbourne revealing during an interview with Record Mirror that the third song on the Black Sabbath album “Never Say Die” – titled “Junior’s Eyes” – served as a heartfelt tribute to his beloved father.

The musician found an unusual sense of motivation in his father’s passing, viewing it as a signal to continue creating music and experiencing the encouragement from his followers, whom he referred to as his extraordinary strength.

‘Ozzy hated the thought of just withering away and stopping altogether,’ they added.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Osbourne for comment. 

Osbourne’s family announced his death in a statement shared on Tuesday.

For the first time since 2005, the rocker performed alongside his original Black Sabbath bandmates, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. This historic reunion took place during what was confirmed as his final concert, a bittersweet moment for both him and his devoted fans.

In his closing remarks, Osbourne expressed that he couldn’t possibly explain his feelings, but wanted to deeply thank everyone from the very depths of his heart.

The singer, who sold more than 100 million records, formed Black Sabbath in Birmingham in 1968.

Black Sabbath, with their hits such as Iron Man, War Pigs, and Paranoid, found great success and controversy by incorporating occult themes into their music. This approach was criticized severely, even leading to a future pope denouncing Ozzy Osbourne for his alleged “subtle satanic influence.

Well, his most notorious act unfolded during one of his solo performances when a bat was hurled onto the stage. In a split second, he mistook it for a rubber toy and took a bite out of it. In 1979, Osbourne was expelled from the band because of his wild behavior fueled by drugs. However, he went on to have an incredibly prosperous solo career, achieving massive success with songs like “Crazy Train” and “Hellraiser.

Back in 1989, under the influence of drugs, he made an attempt on Sharon’s life. Seven years prior to that incident, he disrespected a significant monument, the Alamo Cenotaph in Texas, by urinating on it. This act led to a ten-year ban from San Antonio.

In 2003, he suffered injuries from a quad bike accident at his residence in the UK. This incident significantly affected his already delicate state of health.

In my experience as a lifestyle aficionado, even amidst challenges, there was a remarkable transformation for the once-troubled singer. He reemerged on the scene not just as a musician but also as a reality television sensation in “The Osbournes” during the early 2000s. This metamorphosis came about after he conquered his struggles with alcohol and drugs, receiving support from Sharon.

There was a return too to Black Sabbath in 1997, when the original line-up reunited.

Tributes have been pouring in for the superstar following his family’s announcement of his death.
