How DPM.LOL is changing the game for League of Legends analytics

Juliano, the CEO of DPM.LOL, is determined to create the leading analytics platform for League of Legends, and his team is making great progress.

For over 15 years, League of Legends players have used many websites to track stats – things like the best item builds for champions and what professional players are doing in their individual games. But Juliano felt there was still a need for a data source that was both trustworthy and easy to understand, with a visually pleasing design. So, in 2024, he built DPM.LOL, and it quickly became a game-changer for how League of Legends stats are analyzed.

DPM.LOL is experiencing fast growth and is now reaching audiences around the world. They have no plans to stop innovating, and the 2026 season looks incredibly exciting with the upcoming launch of a desktop app and other new developments.

We believed that if we created something truly worthwhile, people would eventually discover it.

Juliano, DPM.LOL CEO

The birth of DPM.LOL

DPM.LOL started because Juliano felt existing League of Legends websites weren’t keeping up with what players actually wanted and needed. In an interview with Xpsp, he said he believed a better experience was possible, and a year ago, he was just a regular person with an idea. He decided to build it himself.

So, how did one person create a highly successful League of Legends analytics site? By thoroughly researching existing sites and then building a better one – one that addressed what they were missing. But getting a new website off the ground is tough, as a lack of users can quickly kill a project. As Juliano explained, they promoted their site everywhere – Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok – constantly sharing links. “It was a lot of work, and honestly, pretty draining,” he said. “Spending all day to gain just a few new users was really hard.”

A few curious people initially checked out the project, but it quickly grew. DPM.LOL officially launched in June 2024, and its creator, Juliano, had no idea how popular it would become. The following month, Marc Robert Lamont, known as “Caedrel,” discovered the site on Reddit.

As a huge League fan, I was absolutely thrilled when Caedrel decided to support our little project, DPM.LOL! It honestly felt like a dream come true. He’s such a massive personality in the LoL community, and his help wasn’t just about getting more eyes on us – it actually made a real difference in how quickly we grew. Seriously, just a quick mention on one of his streams brought in thousands of new users, and that’s exactly what we needed to get things moving!

Caedrel joins DPM.LOL

Just a month after the site went live, Caedrel reached out to Juliano through direct message to discuss it. Juliano was surprised and thrilled, explaining, “He found the site through a Reddit post, and I’ve been a fan of his for a long time, so it felt unreal!” While excited, Juliano also felt some pressure, and it was a bit awkward working with someone he’d admired for years – something he admitted not everyone would be ready for.

It quickly became a smooth and positive experience. The CEO stated, “I truly appreciate all of Caedrel’s contributions to the project.” Caedrel, with his large following of over 1.5 million on Twitch, successfully drove a lot of traffic to the website. By January 2025, the number of users had jumped from nothing to 500,000 – exceeding the founder’s initial expectations.

It was amazing to have Caedrel join the project right away, but Kamel “Kameto” Kebir joining was even better. For those who don’t know him, Kameto is the co-owner and president of Karmine Corp, a leading French esports organization, and he’s also France’s most popular streamer with 2.1 million followers on Twitch.

League of Legends is a constantly changing, hugely popular game, but the tools and resources around it haven’t kept up for a long time. We saw a need for something new and innovative, and that’s why we created DPM – to really refresh things.

Juliano, DPM.LOL CEO

Having popular French streamer Kameto involved was a huge win for the project. After almost two years, DPM.LOL had reached 1% of the French population – a significant achievement for creator Juliano. He shared on X that it still feels surreal, watching his passion project grow from a small idea into something much larger and unexpected.

“The community is the best part of the project.”

League of Legends boasts a lively and diverse community filled with players and creative individuals – singers, artists, voice actors, and many more from all over the world. But simply making something for this community doesn’t mean people will actually see or use it. A project needs an audience to truly come to life.

DPM.LOL steadily gained popularity. When Kameto became involved, the user base nearly doubled, and the site continued to expand. It now has over three million users. Juliano explained on X that their success wasn’t due to any tricks, but simply consistent effort: building, learning, and showing up daily.

The project has received incredible support from the community over the past two years, and it wouldn’t have been possible without them. Juliano, the CEO, emphasizes that the community is the most rewarding aspect of the work, and their input is crucial for the project’s continued development. He makes a point of actively engaging with users on social media, responding to as many direct messages as he can. He believes it’s vital for users to feel valued and know their opinions are taken seriously.

With League of Legends constantly changing, DPM.LOL aims to provide the in-depth content fans have been wanting. Juliano explained that many other platforms haven’t kept up with the game’s evolution and haven’t offered significant updates recently. He believes the League of Legends community needed something new, and DPM.LOL was created to be that fresh approach.

DPM.LOL offers helpful features like matchup videos that show players how to beat difficult opponents. It also lets fans directly compare pro players with its Head-to-Head tool. The platform has a ton of resources, including rankings for different game modes, tools for scouting opponents, and much more.

How to be a reliable source of information

This is likely the hardest part of the project, but DPM.LOL considers it extremely important. Being open and honest is central to who they are and everything they’ve created. Because of this, they’re very careful about how they share information with the public.

A key part of being open and honest is regularly talking to top players and those heavily involved in competitive gaming to confirm our information is accurate. As our CEO put it, “We’re always challenging our own ideas and features to ensure they genuinely benefit players and don’t make things more complicated.”

We really value feedback from our community. It helps us improve the product by making changes or removing features that aren’t useful. Juliano built trust in DPM.LOL’s data by always being consistent and honest.

What’s next for DPM.LOL in 2026?

2026 isn’t just another year – it’s the year for DPM.LOL. They’re launching a Desktop App in February after some delays. This app promises a completely new platform that’s ad-free, doesn’t use Overwolf, and, as Juliano explains, combines the best features of several apps into one simple, streamlined experience.

The team is also planning to launch RTF, a new website focused on League of Legends esports. Inspired by HLTV – a go-to source for Counter-Strike fans – DPM.LOL aims to create a similar, comprehensive resource for League of Legends. RTF will be a central place for all things LoL esports, adding to the existing content on DPM.LOL.

Juliano is focused on developing his skills as a founder and leader. He shared that this experience has been a valuable learning opportunity, and he aims to improve his long-term planning and decision-making abilities by 2026. He’s also realized the importance of delegation and trusting his team, believing it will ultimately lead to greater success.

The biggest challenges for DPM.LOL

Juliano shared, “I feel incredibly lucky to be doing what I love every day.” He enjoys working with a motivated and talented team, which makes for a great atmosphere. However, he acknowledges that the team still faces many obstacles to overcome.

As a big fan, I’m really excited to hear the team wants to become more independent and less reliant on Riot Games. It’s great they’re also focusing on making the game financially sustainable, but promise they won’t do it at the expense of our enjoyment! They seem determined to keep improving things while still holding onto what made the game so special in the first place, and that’s exactly what I want to see.

Ultimately, success depends on building a strong community and working through any obstacles we face. Our goal is to become the leading website for League of Legends players worldwide!

Expanding to new games? Maybe!

The CEO envisions creating a learning platform for League of Legends, similar to Duolingo, that provides personalized data and guidance to players of all skill levels. The goal is to help players improve through structured lessons and coaching, focusing on easy-to-understand concepts rather than complex data. While there are many ideas for this project, the team’s current workload means it likely won’t be launched until 2027 at the earliest.

We haven’t ruled out adding new games, and in the future, DPM.LOL might include popular titles like TFT and VALORANT.

How can you support DPM.LOL?

Simply following us on social media or visiting the website when you need information is a great way to show your support. If you’d like to do more, consider becoming a premium member. Subscribing helps us improve the platform and create an even better experience for you.

The DPM Hall of Fame is open to all members who have a Premium subscription. Currently, the website has over 10,350 members. Juliano explained that these members are essential to the project’s success, and you can join them if you’d like.

You don’t always need to donate money to support a project. Giving regular feedback and talking to the developers can be incredibly helpful – they really value your thoughts! Ultimately, helping the community benefits the game we all love.
