Get ready for another season of The Traitors, the wildly entertaining reality competition series, back with Alan Cumming at his stunning Scottish Highlands castle! Expect more twists, turns, and delightfully over-the-top drama.
Okay, so Season 4 of the US version of Traitors is here, and they’ve really shaken things up with the cast. We’re talking reality TV royalty – Dorinda from Real Housewives, Porsha Williams, plus strategy players like Natalie Anderson from Survivor and Tiffany Mitchell from Big Brother. They even brought in figure skating icons Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski! Everyone arrived at Jeff Cumming’s castle ready for the usual blindfolded round table to figure out who’s a Traitor and who’s Faithful, but this season had a twist I definitely didn’t see coming. The host revealed there would be a secret Traitor, someone whose identity was hidden from everyone – even us viewers! It immediately threw everyone for a loop and added a whole new layer of paranoia to the game.
The show kicked things off with a surprising twist revealed right at the beginning. This immediately raised the stakes, and became even more impactful when three other Traitors – Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard Bassett from Real Housewives, and Rob Rausch from Love Island – discovered that this particular Traitor was operating alone. This meant they wouldn’t be making the final decision on who to eliminate each night; instead, this lone Traitor would give them a limited list of potential victims to choose from.
Peacock launched the first three episodes of Season 4 on Thursday, immediately putting viewers in the middle of the mystery alongside the contestants. Suspicions quickly arose, and accusations started flying, leading to a quick disagreement between Survivor winner Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho and actor Michael Rapaport. Meanwhile, contestant Williams accidentally revealed enough information to become the first ‘Faithful’ eliminated from the competition.

The biggest surprise came later in the show. Donna Kelce, mother of NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s future mother-in-law, was nearly eliminated early in Episode 3. She’d been criticized in the first round for seeming quiet and nervous, and she spent much of the discussion defending herself. She explained that her reserved behavior wasn’t due to any sneaky intentions, but simply because she was excited to be there. Kelce felt it was easy for the other reality TV stars to target her, as she didn’t have any pre-existing relationships with them.
Even though she begged them not to, most of the votes went to Kelce, and she began preparing a farewell speech. But then, she shockingly revealed she was actually a traitor! The group known as the Faithful had unexpectedly identified the secret traitor – a surprise even to her fellow traitors.
While the elimination ended a potentially engaging mystery for viewers to unravel throughout the season, it also raised the stakes. If the contestants are willing to eliminate a popular player so quickly, it suggests they’ll continue to make bold and dramatic moves as the competition heats up.
