After that particular event, Star Clinton Liberty finds himself continually amused by the memes that surface. “They just seem to get funnier and funnier,” he shared with Entertainment Weekly. “I thought for sure I’d grow tired of them and run out of laughs, but they continue to surprise me. It’s such a hilarious experience, and it offers an unusual opportunity to interact with the show’s audience in a fresh manner. It’s been truly wonderful.”
Liberty was taken aback by the popularity of the scene, particularly how rapidly it turned into the internet’s top trending meme. “Addam always wanted more for his life. He always wanted to do great things, but the reasoning behind him wanting to do great things is to have the opportunity to be able to have some kind of connection with his father. He always wanted to matter to Corlys. The only way he feels that he can be seen — as we know Corlys as the wealthiest man in Westeros — is maybe if I become wealthy, as well. The fact that he’s bonded with Seasmoke is another way for him to be seen by his father.”
