During the dinner party on Wednesday evening, Carina Mirabile from Married At First Sight had a heated argument with Jamie Marinos.

Instead, it was her fashion selections that sparked stronger disapproval among fans rather than her choice of phrases, as she remained firm in her stance.

The 31-year-old bride chose a gown with a halter neck design, boasting a figure-flattering, gathered torso section and a coordinating headscarf to complete the look.

It didn’t take much time for people to start expressing their opinions about her striking appearance on the platform once known as Twitter, now simply referred to as X.

As a die-hard admirer, I find it hard to view Carina as anything but amusing when she’s shouting at me while dressed like that – so, I chuckle instead.

A bystander commented, “Was Carina wearing that ensemble as armor, perhaps?”, and another chimed in, calling it a ‘disarray’ or ‘messy look’.

‘Loved Carina in Dune,’ one fan hilariously quipped.  

‘OMG another shocking Carina outfit,’ another person wrote. 

In last Wednesday’s installment, I found myself squarely in the middle of some elevated emotions. You see, I had to address Jamie, who felt let down by Carina during our Couples Retreat, a situation that she termed as “too loud” and “boganic,” as articulated by Lauren. It was certainly an intriguing dynamic, one that underscored the importance of trust and unity among partners in any relationship.

It seems that I was questioning Lauren, Jamie mentioned. Men are cursing me out, giving me warnings, and telling me I’m behaving uncivilized.

‘I was owning the argument because she slated the whole house.’

Carina then refuted Jamie’s version of events which triggered the ‘firecracker’ bride.

It seems like you didn’t stand up for me when I needed it, Jamie said angrily, implying that he wasn’t present or aware of the situation, perhaps because he was taking a break or had already finished work for the day.

One person pointed out: ‘Carina’s dinner party outfit looks culturally inappropriate.’ 

In the heat of the moment, I found myself utterly convinced that Jamie, Awhina, and Beth had essentially ganged up on Lauren during our face-off – a situation reminiscent of the infamous “Mean Girls” trio in high school.

Carina expressed her disapproval by saying, “She was acting underhandedly. I couldn’t support that kind of behavior; it reminded me of the antics in ‘Mean Girls’, a popular movie from 2004.

Her remark really triggered Jamie, as she retorted sharply: “Why are you labeling me as a bully? I won’t tolerate that kind of disrespect.

Awhina also found Carina’s comments unsettling, promptly responding by stating that Carina’s emotions appeared to be ‘unfounded.’

Things continued to go down hill as the shouting around the table reached fever pitch.

In a loud voice, Carina exclaimed, “Now we both have voices!” To this, Jamie retorted in a dismissive tone, ” Frankly, I couldn’t care less that you have a voice.

The back and forth continued with Carina saying: ‘I’ll just sit back and watch The Jamie Show.’

‘Tune in babe, because it’s a f***ing good show,’ Jamie shot back. 

Additionally, Jamie didn’t hold back on expressing his displeasure towards Veronica, who attempted to interject with unwanted advice prior to being asked for her opinion, which he promptly requested she keep to herself.

Meanwhile, Rhi finally broke her silence to apologize to Jamie, acknowledging that she had not previously defended Lauren.

In that instance, Jamie, I failed to support you, Rhi admitted. I overlooked the inappropriate actions of Lauren.

After seeming to forgive Rhi’s apology, it was evident by the end of dinner that Jamie and Carina had not rekindled their affection for each other.

‘You choose your friends and I don’t choose Carina,’ Jamie said.

The fracas took its toll on Carina who made a tearful exit from the dinner party.

When a producer asked if she was alright, a distraught Carina replied: “I have the feeling that I’m not intelligent enough.

I often feel out of my depth, especially when it comes to these complex topics. I don’t claim to be a genius, but rather, I try to find the positive in others. Unfortunately, these situations sometimes make me question my own intelligence.
