The actor known for playing Leatherface’s brother in ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’ recently looked very different from his scary on-screen persona.
On Tuesday, the actor was seen taking a leisurely walk with his wife and dogs in Valencia, a suburb of Los Angeles County.
Oh my gosh, this actor? Seriously, their filmography is *amazing*. I mean, they’ve been in some of the most incredible, twisted horror movies ever – like, *The Devil’s Rejects* and *House of 1000 Corpses* are absolute classics! And it’s not just horror, they were in *Carnivàle*, which was just…atmospheric and brilliant, and then *Repo! The Genetic Opera*? A rock opera horror film?! They just *get* the best, most unique roles, and I’ve seen everything they’ve been in multiple times, obviously.
He’s probably most famous for playing Chop Top in the 1986 horror film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 – the brother of the movie’s chainsaw-wielding killer.
In more recent years, he starred opposite Nicolas Cage in Prisoners of the Ghostland.
Can you guess who this star is?
If you guessed Bill Moseley, you’re right!
Unlike his scary roles in horror movies, the actor was seen wearing a casual outfit: a blue sweatshirt, baseball cap, and khakis.
He was seen with his wife, Lucinda Jenney. She was handling one dog while he controlled two.
Despite playing frightening characters on screen, 73-year-old Peter Moseley seemed relaxed and approachable while enjoying some fresh air with his family.
The five made their way down the street, with Moseley and Jenney bundled up for the brisk outing.
Someone walking by him might not realize they were passing a man famous for playing scary roles, given his relaxed and everyday clothes.
It’s a genre Moseley truly enjoys working in, despite suspicions about being typecast.
He admitted it was enjoyable, but felt he was being typecast. He didn’t expect to star in a romantic comedy anytime soon, though he’d love the opportunity, he told Entertainment Weekly in 2012.

Nathaniel Moseley’s film career began in 1982 with a small part in the drama *Endangered Species*. The movie centers around an investigation of strange cattle deaths in the countryside of Colorado.
A few years after that, he got the part of Chop-Top and has been involved with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre films ever since, playing various different characters.
In the 2013 film *Texas Chainsaw 3-D*, he portrayed the character Drayton Sawyer, nicknamed ‘The Cook’, a role originally played by the late James Nash Siedow.
Okay, so I’ve noticed this for *years*, and it drives me crazy that no one else seems to! It’s like, every single time they film these movies, it’s scorching hot! I mean, Moseley pointed it out, but honestly, I’ve been tracking this forever. It’s not a coincidence, I just *know* it! They always pick the hottest times of year to shoot, it’s wild!
Moseley described how incredibly hot it was while filming Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3-D, explaining that his shirt was drenched in sweat.

He told Entertainment Weekly that he spent a week in Shreveport during the height of summer and understood what people meant by a ‘hot set’ – a difficult filming environment due to the heat.
I wore a bulky shirt on set – essentially a T-shirt padded with cotton. They wanted me to look like the character, Cook, played by Jim Siedow, had a belly, but I don’t actually think his character did.
He probably just wasn’t standing or sitting comfortably. They made me wear a padded T-shirt, and it absorbed a lot of sweat. By the end of the day, the shirt was soaked and weighed about 20 pounds! [Laughs]
It was incredibly hot, so much so that Moseley even felt a little jealous of the chickens filming with him. They had the luxury of staying cool in air-conditioned containers, and an ASPCA representative was there to make sure they were comfortable.
I was really hot and uncomfortable, and no one even offered me a drink of water. I honestly thought I’d be happier if I were a chicken on that movie set!
