Horror fans rejoice! Longlegs is coming to digital this Friday

As a die-hard horror enthusiast who’s been through countless sleepless nights thanks to these chilling masterpieces, I can confidently say that the digital release of Neon’s Longlegs is like Christmas coming early this year! Having missed its theatrical run due to my busy schedule as a ghost tour guide, I couldn’t be more excited to finally witness the terrifying tale unfold in the comfort of my own haunted abode.

Among the top-earning horror movies of 2024, “Neon’s Longlegs,” is getting a digital release this Friday. So if you missed catching it in cinemas, here’s your opportunity to enjoy this terrifying masterpiece right from the comfort of your home!

Longlegs, which had a successful run in cinemas back in July 2024 and collected more than $100 million worldwide on a budget of just $10 million, is set for its digital premiere tomorrow, specifically on August 23, 2024. Excitingly, you can now pre-order the movie on popular digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu at a price of $24.99 (before taxes). At the moment, rental options aren’t available, but you should be able to rent it starting August 23 as well.

If you’re the type who prefers a tangible copy, here’s some fantastic news! The upcoming horror masterpiece, “Longlegs,” is also set to hit physical shelves. As per a recent press release, this chilling film will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting on September 24, 2024. For all you collectors out there, these physical formats are said to include bonus materials, such as behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew, and an extensive commentary track by writer-director Osgood Perkins (known for “The Monkey” and “The Blackcoat’s Daughter”). So, mark your calendars, fellow fans! The wait for the physical copy of this spine-tingling adventure is almost over.

Hang on! Have we heard anything about a streaming debut? I’m sorry to say, but there’s no confirmation yet. However, should this movie make its way to streaming platforms, it might be on Hulu as Neon theatrical films often stream there following their theater release. In the movie titled Longlegs, Maika Monroe plays Lee Harker, an FBI agent on a mission to unravel an elusive serial killer’s mystery and bring an end to their rampage. Alongside Monroe, you’ll find Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt, Nicolas Cage, Kiernan Shipka, and several others in the star-studded cast.
