Players in China are getting another chance to try out Honor of Kings: World with a new closed beta test for both PC and mobile devices. Applications are being accepted from February 10th to February 23rd, 2026. While those of us outside of China are still waiting for the game, this new test gives Chinese players another opportunity to experience it.
This Honor of Kings: World closed beta phase is confidential, and progress will be wiped
The next test will be private, and your progress from the current beta version won’t carry over – everything will be reset afterward. Participants will also need to sign a confidentiality agreement, and unfortunately, this means we won’t be seeing any new images or graphics.
I’m really excited they’re letting us play the beta on pretty much anything – PC, Android, iOS, even cloud gaming! That’s awesome. But, heads up, my phone needs to be pretty powerful to run it. If you’re on Android, you’ll need a Snapdragon 865 or newer chip. And for us iPhone folks, it looks like you’ll need an iPhone 11 or a newer model to get in on the action.
Everyone’s been eagerly awaiting Honor of Kings: World, and for good reason. As a large-scale, open-world action RPG based on the incredibly popular Honor of Kings, it promises a lot and has players excited for its official release.
Originally shown in 2021, this game combines exciting, quick battles with the freedom to explore large, detailed worlds. Players can join forces with well-known heroes from Honor of Kings, utilize their unique powers, and also take breaks from fighting to build houses or enjoy other peaceful activities.
You can register for the test here. Please make sure you meet all the requirements. We haven’t announced the test date yet, so keep an eye out for an official announcement from the developer.
Okay, so we don’t have a firm global launch date yet, but they’ve officially said it’s coming in Spring 2026 – so sometime between March and May. Honestly, I’m guessing it’ll be closer to May. It seems like the closed beta testing is going to run until early April, and I figure they’ll need some time after that to polish things up before the full release.
