Level Infinite, a part of Tencent Games, revealed that its new open-world action RPG, Honor of Kings: World, will be released on mobile devices and PCs in spring 2026. The game, based on the popular Honor of Kings franchise, was originally announced in November 2021 and became available for pre-registration in China this April.

Ugh, the wait for Honor of Kings: World is killing me, but it’s worth it! It just won ‘Most Anticipated Game of the Year’ at the GamingonPhone Awards 2025, which is awesome. Tencent Games and TiMi Studio Group are making this open-world RPG spin-off, and I can’t wait to finally jump in and play!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game, and I think it will be worth the wait. Many in the gaming community are calling it the “Genshin-Killer” due to its similarities to Genshin Impact. It’s a game where you’ll travel through a huge world inspired by Chinese mythology, and explore beautiful locations like the Dreamweave Plains, Dragon Valley, and underground areas, among others.

Players can fight alongside their favorite HOK heroes, and even build and explore the open world

What’s really cool is you get to team up with your favorite Heroes of Hammerheim characters, use their special abilities, and even relax between fights by building a house or starting a new job. I especially like how the game combines the gameplay of Genshin Impact with the unique style of Heroes of Hammerheim, letting you battle bosses like the Crimson Beast or summon powerful creatures such as the Azure Beast.

I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen of the game so far! The graphics are amazing, and I love the variety of weapons, multiplayer options, and challenging boss battles. I’m eager to play it and hope it’s released worldwide at the same time.
