Following years of anticipation and recent news, Honor of Kings, a popular mobile MOBA game developed by Tencent Games’ TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite, is now available in India. Players in the region can now download and start playing what’s known as the world’s biggest mobile MOBA.

The game’s release follows months of anticipation. Honor of Kings India started building a social media presence earlier this year, and reports from GamingonPhone suggested an India launch was coming, which was recently made official.
First known as King’s Glory in China, this game has been incredibly popular for years. It became available worldwide on June 20, 2024, and quickly gained a large following. In just the first month, it was downloaded over 50 million times and earned more than $100 million.

Okay, so Honor of Kings is a pretty standard MOBA – you’ve got two teams of five, and we’re all trying to destroy each other’s base. It’s the usual deal: three lanes to push, a jungle to farm, and objectives to grab. What’s cool is the matches don’t take forever – usually around 15 minutes, which is perfect when I’m just trying to get a quick game in on my phone.
Choose from a diverse group of heroes, many based on famous myths and stories, each offering a unique way to play. The game focuses on fair competition – you won’t need to worry about endless grinding or energy limits. Winning depends on how well you work with your team, understand the map, and master your chosen hero.
Many of you have been asking about the India version of the game, and we have some exciting updates! The developers have set up dedicated servers in India, along with a local Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Battle Suit Accelerator, as confirmed by Honor of Kings Game Producer Dean Huang in a recent interview with GamingonPhone.
