The Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 (KIC) is the biggest event in the world of Honor of Kings esports. Sixteen teams from around the globe will compete throughout the regional stages to determine the world champion. The top three teams will also advance to compete in the Challenger Cup.
Level Infinite and TiMi Studios will host the event, which will bring together 16 teams in the Philippines. It’s scheduled for November 2025, and specific dates will be revealed soon.
Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025: Schedule and Format
The event kicks off in November and wraps up within the same month. It will be divided into two parts: a Group Stage and the Playoffs. During the Group Stage, teams will be divided into four groups of four, playing each other once in a best-of-three match. The top two teams from each group will then advance to the Playoffs.
The playoff tournament will use a double-elimination format. Teams that win their groups will automatically advance past the first round. All matches will be best-of-five, except for the championship match, which will be a best-of-seven series. Specific dates for each stage haven’t been released yet, so please check back for a detailed schedule.
Prize Pool
This year’s tournament will be held on the global version of the game. While KPL is running a separate event just for Chinese teams with a smaller prize pool, KIC 2025 will offer participants a prize pool of $1 million. The tournament will conclude with a live final event in the Philippines.

I’m so hyped for this tournament! It’s bringing together the best teams from all over the region. There will be 16 teams competing, and even though the prize money isn’t as high as some of the events just for Chinese teams, I don’t think that’ll change anything.
