Honor of Kings collaborates with Malaysia Badminton icon Lee Chong Wei to bring featured skin, events, and more

The collaboration with the legendary Lee Chong Wei is an absolute game-changer for us fans in Malaysia. It’s not every day we get to play with a skin modeled after one of our national heroes!

In a thrilling turn of events, King of Glory (the equivalent of Honor of Kings) has joined forces with legendary Malaysian badminton player, Lee Chong Wei. This partnership promises a host of new activities and prizes for the gaming enthusiasts. Notably, Lee Chong Wei is the first sports personality from Malaysia to be showcased in a mobile game. Unfortunately, this unique event is only accessible to players residing within the country; gamers from other regions will not have access to these exclusive features.

Beginning on August 29, 2024, you’re welcome to join the game and engage in the tasks specified under the Event section. These tasks consist of inviting friends, signing in regularly, daily visits, and competing against friends in matches.

One of the highlighted prizes is definitely the Lee Chong Wei character skin. To acquire the 1,000 tokens necessary to claim the Lee Chong Wei skin for free, you’ll need to follow a simple process. Upon your first login, you’ll immediately receive 120 tokens and unlock both the Han Xin character and LCW Skin trail effects. Plus, logging in every day will earn you an extra 30 tokens.

Additionally, when you invite a buddy to play Honor of Kings, you’ll receive a selection of 50 to 500 tokens at random. If you collaborate with them in a game, you’ll each collect 55 tokens, moving you and your friend closer to our shared objective.

The skin design is inspired by Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei, drawing similarities with the Assassin hero Han Xin. Han Xin was selected due to his shared characteristics with Lee Chong Wei – both had humble origins, demonstrated remarkable resilience, and were driven to be exceptional in their respective domains. Their unwavering passion for excellence has earned them legendary status through their accomplishments.

Players in Malaysia can also check out the 3D OOH installation located at Bukit Bintang Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, where they can snap a selfie or quick video clip. This action could potentially win them an autographed jersey from Lee Chong Wei and other in-game prizes.
