Skill Analysis of HOK Chicha
Passive Skill: Forge Inheritor
Okay, so I’m playing Chicha, and she’s awesome because she has five different weapons – a polearm, spear, dagger-axe, halberd, and a bow. Every time I do a basic attack, she actually heals a little bit and automatically switches to the next weapon in line, and each one hits a bit further than the last. Plus, landing hits – whether basic attacks or skills – builds up what’s called ‘Fighting Spirit’. I can get up to eight stacks of it, and each stack gives me a 4% boost to my attack speed – it can even go over the normal attack speed limit, which is crazy good!
Depending on the weapon she wields, the character shifts into different stances. Using a polearm or spear activates Defence form, a dagger-axe or halberd activates Offence form, and a bow activates Overkill form. Each form modifies the effects of her first and second skills. Switching to Overkill form immediately cuts the cooldowns of those skills in half.
First Skill: Peak-crushing Polearm/Hell-binding Dagger-Axe/Sky-Shatterring Bow

- Defence Form: Chicha swings her weapon and leaps forward in the target direction, dealing physical damage to enemies in the path and carrying them to the landing point. After landing, thrusts forward, dealing Physical damage and launching enemies for 0.75 seconds.
- Offence Form: Chicha hooks her weapon at the target location, dealing damage to enemies in the path and carrying them to her landing point. After landing, she smashes the ground, dealing damage and launching them for 0.75s.
- Overkill Form: Chicha launches a Flying kick in the target direction, firing a piercing Arrow that deals damage while knocking back enemies for 0.75 seconds. If enemies hit a wall, they are restricted to a fixed area for 2s and take damage.
Second Skill: World-Splitting Spear/Star-Felling Arrow/Realm-Sweeping Halberd
- Defence Form: Chicha thrusts forward in the target direction, dealing damage and knocking back enemies (without applying Crowd control). For each target hit, she recovers a portion of Health (halved for non-hero units).
- Offence Form: Chicha sweeps in the target direction, dealing damage and knocking back enemies (without applying Crowd control). For each target hit, she recovers a portion of her Health (halved for non-hero units).
- Overkill Form: Chicha aims in the target direction, locking onto all enemies in range up to 5, while prioritising heroes. After aiming, she shoots arrows at all locked-on targets, dealing damage plus true damage equal to 10% of their lost Health. She also recovers HP for each target hit, while gaining crowd control immunity and 15% damage reduction.
Third Skill: Return of the Armsmaster
Chicha activates all of her weapons, increasing her movement and attack speed for a short time and allowing her to stack her special ability more times than usual.
She activates a mode where she can control all five of her weapons, making each basic attack more powerful. While this mode is active, she can also attack while moving. Once activated, the mode stays on until deactivated.
Skill Level-Up Method for Chicha
- Skill 1: Unlock and upgrade this skill accordingly.
- Skill 2: Prioritise upgrading this ability for extra mobility and the control it grants.
- Skill 3: Prioritise upgrading whenever available for its burst damage output.

Honor of Kings Chicha Guide: Gameplay Tips
Early Game
Head to the Clash Lane while playing as Chicha. Early in the game, focus on safely attacking enemies and using her passive to heal. Her passive restores health and switches her weapons with each attack, so consistent attacking will keep you alive and help you build up Fighting Spirit stacks for increased attack speed.

Early in the game, focus on using your first skill to participate in fights. Your second skill is best for trading damage and recovering health while dealing with enemy units. Keep moving between lanes to help your teammates and apply pressure, but avoid taking unnecessary risks.
Mid Game
Chicha really comes into her own during the mid-game thanks to her flexibility. As you fully upgrade her Fighting Spirit, she excels in longer team battles. Use her ultimate before big fights to remove the limit on Fighting Spirit stacks and dramatically increase her attack speed. Once she transforms with Overkill, she stays transformed, letting her relentlessly attack with faster ability cooldowns.
Your Ultimate also gives you a huge advantage in movement, letting you attack enemies while dodging their attacks. Keep moving between lanes to start team fights and help your team take key objectives in the jungle.
Late Game
Later in the game, Chicha needs to play carefully, focusing on where she stands and who she attacks – she should prioritize eliminating the enemy’s primary damage dealer. She should rapidly use her basic attacks to quickly switch between her different forms and adapt to whatever’s happening. Use her Defence Form to start fights and apply pressure, Offence Form to target enemies in the back, and Overkill Form to quickly finish off opponents, particularly when they’re clustered together or have low health.

Help your team achieve key goals like capturing Overlord or Tyrant, which will give them a significant advantage as the game progresses. Here’s a skill combination that can be useful during the late game:
Basic Attacks → Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Skill 2 → Basic Attacks
| Heroes that Chicha Counter | Heroes that Counter Chicha |
|---|---|
| Hou Yi | Prince of Lanling |
| Marco Polo | Lu Bu |
| Lady Sun | Arthur |
Final Thoughts
Chicha is a well-rounded fighter who excels at keeping enemies at a distance, dealing consistent damage, and playing strategically. In the later stages of team battles, she’s dangerous because she can quickly change tactics, punish opponents who push too far, and keep up a rapid attack rate. This guide will help you master Chicha, win your matches, and lead your team to success in Honor of Kings.
