Story Highlights
- The fifth edition of Brazil’s premier championship kicks off this February with eight teams.
- Teams will compete in a double round-robin group stage followed by high-stakes play-ins.
- The champion earns the right to represent Brazil at the Honor of Kings World Cup 2026.
A few weeks ago, the plan for the future of Honor of Kings esports was announced. Now, new regional competitions are starting as scheduled, with teams battling it out. This month will see the start of the Honor of Kings Brazil Championship (CHOKBR) Fall 2026. The game developers are committed to sticking to the schedule, which is challenging given the fast pace of current events.
Level Infinite and TiMi Studios are teaming up to host this event. The online competition will determine which Brazilian team will represent the country at the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) in 2026, despite having a smaller prize pool than some other tournaments.
Honor of Kings Brazil Championship (CHOKBR) Fall 2026: Schedule and Format
The upcoming championship series, its fifth edition, will feature several changes. This year, Influence Rage is the only team directly invited to compete, and DreamMax e-Sports is back after sitting out a season. We’ll also see one team move to a new playing zone, and two completely new teams joining the league for the first time.
The event will happen in three phases, beginning with group play in February. It will continue until mid-April, culminating in the championship match on the final day.
The event will begin with a month-long Group Stage, concluding on March 29, 2026. During this stage, all participating teams will play each other twice in a best-of-five series. The two highest-ranking teams will move directly to the Playoffs, while the next four will compete in the Play-Ins to earn a playoff spot.
The Play In stage starts on April 3rd. Teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket using a best-of-seven format, with a final deciding match if needed. Teams will be ranked, and the top two will move on to the next round.
The playoffs are scheduled for April 4th through the 12th. The tournament will use a double-elimination format, meaning teams have two chances to avoid being eliminated. All matches will be best-of-seven, culminating in a final showdown.
Participating Teams
The competition will feature eight teams battling it out for the win and advancement. Here’s a list of those teams:
- 9z Team
- DreamMax
- Elevate
- Infamous
- Influence Rage
- LOS
- RUSH Gaming
- GigaFox Gaming
Prize Pool
While the prize money isn’t huge, it’s a decent amount considering this event is a qualifying tournament for the World Cup and will be held online. The total prize pool is $22,000, and here’s how it’s distributed:
| Team Ranking | Prize Pool |
|---|---|
| The Champion | $6,000 |
| Runner-up | $4,000 |
| 3rd-4th | $3,000 |
| 5th-6th | $2,000 |
| 7th-8th | $1,000 |
