HoYoverse is preparing to launch version 3.7 of Honkai: Star Rail, called “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” on November 5, 2025. This update will conclude the Amphoreus Saga and introduce a new 5-star character, a permanent game mode, a limited-time event, and other exciting content for players.

Main Story Progression: As Tomorrow Became Yesterday

So, throughout the whole Amphoreous story, my crew on the Astral Express – we managed to snag these things called Titan Coreflames. They seriously boosted our powers and, honestly, got us super involved in everything happening in Amphoreous. Now, we’re teaming up with the Crysos Heirs to take on Irontomb. This guy is massive – like, a total threat to time itself, and way more powerful than anything we’ve dealt with before. It’s gonna be a tough fight!

The threat isn’t limited to Destruction and Erudition – a hidden power called Remembrance is also rising. With the universe on the edge of collapse, every decision heroes make will be crucial. Thanks to their bravery and the knowledge of brilliant minds, a Cosmic Alliance is starting to form.

This update features the climactic final battle, taking place in the Ruins of Time. As you may know, Phainon previously used all his power to seal the Irontomb. In the new Trailblaze Mission, you’ll need to break the last three seals to permanently end the Irontomb’s existence.

New Playable Characters in HSR Version 3.7

Cyrene

Cyrene, a powerful 5-star Ice-Type character who follows the Path of the Remembrance, is now available in Honkai: Star Rail with Version 3.7. Players have encountered her throughout the story, and she boosts the damage of all team members. Her abilities also let you create an area that deals additional true damage whenever your allies attack.

When your teammates take actions, they build up Recollection for you. Once Recollection is full, you can use her Ultimate ability for the biggest effect. And that’s not all – her Ultimate immediately triggers all your allies’ Ultimates and keeps her Zone active indefinitely.

You can also call upon her as a memosprite, which can either strengthen your allies or harm your enemies. If you target a Chrysos Heir with this form, you’ll unlock a unique bonus effect.

New Permanent Game Mode: Currency Wars

This update introduces Currency Wars, a new large-scale game mode for teams of up to 10 players. You’ll build a team with characters assigned to both active and support roles. Coordinating your team’s combat types and factions will unlock powerful bonus effects called Bonds.

This game mode starts with 61 free characters to try out, and features ongoing challenges and rewards, much like in Divergent Universe. The developers plan to add even more challenges and ways to improve your characters with future updates.

New Events and Systems

This update includes fun new events like Snack Dash, where you’ll compete in obstacle courses and creative challenges. In this event, cute creations from Madam Ruan Mei race to win top spots.

The game is also getting a new feature called Trailblaze Fashion. By playing through the main story missions, you’ll be able to earn the Deliverer’s Wreath headpiece for free.

Final Thought

Okay, so Version 3.7 just dropped, and it’s HUGE! I’m super hyped to finally play as Cyrene, and I’ve been waiting for that final battle with Irontomb. Plus, this new Currency Wars mode looks awesome – I’m definitely jumping in. Oh, and I’m already planning my route for the Snack Dash event, and it’s great that they’re letting us customize our stuff even more!
