HoYoverse is preparing to launch version 3.7 of Honkai: Star Rail, called “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” on November 5, 2025. This update will conclude the Amphoreus Saga and introduce a new 5-star character, a permanent game mode, a limited-time event, and other exciting content for players.

Main Story Progression: As Tomorrow Became Yesterday

Over the course of the Amphoreous story, the Astral Express team collected Titan Coreflames, which gave them new abilities and connected them to the fate of Amphoreous. Now, they’re joining forces with the Crysos Heirs to battle Irontomb, a powerful enemy who threatens time itself – and is stronger than anything they’ve encountered yet.

The threat isn’t just about destruction and knowledge; something more is awakening in the darkness – the power of forgotten memories. With the universe on the edge of collapse, every decision heroes make will be crucial. From courage and the insight of brilliant minds, a new alliance is forming to face this challenge.

This update introduces a new challenge called the Showdown, taking place in the Ruins of Time. Long ago, Phainon used all his power to seal away the Irontomb. Now, in a new Trailblaze Mission, you’ll need to break the three remaining seals and finally end the Irontomb’s threat.

New Playable Character in HSR Version 3.7

Cyrene

Cyrene, a powerful 5-Star Ice-type character who follows the Path of the Remembrance, is now available to play in Version 3.7. Players may recognize her from her appearances during the Amphoreous journey – she excels at boosting the damage output of the entire team.

She also lets you create an area where allies deal bonus damage with every attack. Plus, as your allies act, they build up a special bonus for you called Recollection. Once Recollection is full, you can use her powerful Ultimate ability for the biggest effect.

Her ultimate ability is incredibly powerful: it immediately triggers the ultimates of all your allies and makes her Zone effect last forever. She also summons a smaller version of herself, called a memosprite, which can either strengthen your teammates or harm your opponents. If you use the memosprite on a Chrysos Heir character, you’ll unlock a unique bonus effect.

New Permanent Game Mode: Currency Wars

This update introduces Currency Wars, a new game mode for teams of up to 10 characters. You’ll build a team with players assigned to both active and support roles. Coordinating your team with matching combat styles and factions unlocks powerful bonuses.

This new mode starts with 61 playable characters available for a free trial. It features regular challenges and a reward system inspired by Divergent Universe. The developers plan to add more challenges and ways to progress through future updates.

New Events and Systems

This update includes fun new events like Snack Dash, where you can compete in races with obstacles and complete creative challenges. In Snack Dash, cute characters created by Madam Ruan Mei race to win and climb the leaderboards.

The game is getting a new feature called Trailblaze Fashion soon! By playing through the Main Missions, you can earn the Deliverer’s Wreath headpiece for free.

Final Thoughts

Version 3.7 is a huge update! It introduces Cyrene, the final battle against Irontomb, and a new game mode called Currency Wars. I’m especially excited about the Snack Dash event, and I also appreciate the added character customization options.
