Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue” update will release on 31st July 2024
As a long-time fan of Honkai: Star Rail and the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime, I cannot contain my excitement for their upcoming collaboration in Q3 2025. Having grown up with these two extraordinary franchises, they hold a special place in my heart, shaping my interests in both gaming and storytelling.
HoYoverse is set to unveil the “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue” update for Honkai: Star Rail in Version 2.4, scheduled for release by the end of July 2024 on the 31st. The Astral Express crew will return to Xianzhou Luofu where they’ll reunite with old acquaintances and form new bonds during the Wardance ceremony. Notable additions in this update include five-star characters Yunli and Jiaoqiu hailing from the region, as well as March 7th embarking on her martial arts adventure.
In the latest update, you’ll get to follow the developing tale of Xianzhou Luofu’s journey, even though the Ambrosial Arbor predicament has been resolved. Witness firsthand the continuing saga. The Wardance festival commemorates the triumph of the Rainbow Arbiter and Cloud Knight over the Excessive Abominations, with the goal of cheering up Luofu’s inhabitants. As a token of peace and welcome, you will receive an invitation. Reconnect with cherished acquaintances such as Yanqing and make new acquaintances like General Feixiao and General Huaiyan.
Discover the New Map in Version 2.4 update: The Shackling Prison
To delve into the intriguing new map, named “The Shackling Prison,” unveiled in Version 2.4, be ready for a thrilling experience. This challenging establishment, managed by the formidable Ten-Lords Commission, is where Xueyi and Hanya carry out their responsibilities. Home to the realm’s most infamous criminals, this concealed prison lies beneath the waters of Scalegorge Waterscape, increasing the air of enigma. Upon entering through the Sea-Stilling Gate, you will reach the central dispatch area.
Down below, the prison’s floors plunge into darkness, concealing their full extent. Prepare yourself for encounters with vicious Borisin, beasts that are infamous for their lunar fury, or Moon Rage. The map layout is extensive yet restrictive in certain spots, featuring interconnected circles of corridors and pathways with various convergence points and blind alleys.
March 7th gets a new form and features in
March 7th transforms into a character named herself in Xianzhou Luofu. Anxious for the approaching Wardance, she embarks on her new role as an apprentice swordmaster under Yunli and Yanqing. During battles, March 7th utilizes her ability to assign a teammate as her master and provides them with a speed-boosting drink.
When a set number of charges accumulate, she responds by upgrading her fundamental attack. Furthermore, based on her Shifu’s (teacher’s) Path, her assaults may acquire additional perks. For example, those following the Destruction, Erudition, or The Hunt paths can amplify certain attacks to inflict extra damage. In contrast, Shifus adhering to the Nihility, Harmony, Preservation, or Abundance paths can intensify the vulnerability reduction of specific attacks.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 update will feature two new playable characters and reruns
1. Yunli
If you’re excited about meeting new characters, don’t miss out on Yunli, a powerful Physical-Type character with a five-star rating, who adheres to the Destruction Path. Making her debut in the upcoming release, Yunli is a gifted swordswoman hailing from Xianzhou Zhuming, who has been trained by her grand father, General Huaiyan. During battles, Yunli employs her distinctive Counter skill to strike back at assailants, inflicting harm on them and surrounding foes as well.
Yunli’s greatest skill puts her in a defensive position, absorbing less harm, provoking adversaries, and markedly amplifying her CRITICAL HITS damage. She is predicted to launch in the initial part of update 2.4, around July 31, 2024.
2. Jiaoqiu
You’ll encounter Jiaoqiu, an exceptional character rated five stars, who joins us from Xianzhou Yaoqing on the Path of Nihility. This Fire-Type figure is a skilled healer and counselor with a sly disposition and remarkable alchemical talents. Jiaoqiu is renowned for preparing meals that nourish and restore, focusing primarily on the debuff effect of Ashen Roast.
Enemies are injured by this debuff, taking more damage as stack levels rise. With his Ultimate, the battleground is changed into a yin-yang hot pot, amplifying the impact of Ashen Roast and enhancing the fighting abilities of allies.
3. HuoHuo and Sparkle Rerun
If you’re intrigued by strong secondary characters, don’t miss out – Huohuo and Sparkle are making a comeback! Huohuo is a healing character with a Wind element, known for her ability to eliminate debuffs and rejuvenate HP. Her ultimate skill revitalizes allies’ energy while enhancing their attack power.
Sparkle, another valuable addition to your team, makes a comeback. With Sparkle on board, you’ll have extra resources to bolster your squad. This character boasts an impressive skill set that grants additional skill points and expanded storage for your team members. Such an asset is particularly beneficial for powerful DPS characters who heavily rely on a large number of skill points.
Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/Stay Night UB collaboration is announced
HoYoverse is thrilled to share that Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime will be joining forces in Q3 2025, according to a recent announcement by the company. The collaboration comes as no surprise given the significant influence HSR draws from UBW.
If you’re a fan of either show, this upcoming collaboration is something you won’t want to miss. Currently, details are scarce but there’s been lots of buzz and excitement within the fanbase.
