Hondo and Nichelle reach a parenting disagreement in SWAT season 8, episode 7 (Preview)

As a parent who’s been through the daycare rat race myself, I can empathize with Hondo and Nichelle’s predicament in SWAT season 8, episode 7. The hunt for the perfect daycare provider feels like a never-ending quest, akin to finding the elusive unicorn or a parking spot at the Mall of America on Black Friday!

As a devoted viewer, I can tell you that parents sometimes have differing opinions and may not see eye to eye. This very dynamic is set to unfold in the eighth season’s seventh episode of SWAT, where we witness their disagreements regarding what’s best for their children.

According to Deacon’s observations, parents sometimes disagree, just like how Annie and he have had moments of agreement and disagreement over the past seasons when it comes to making decisions regarding their children. This is a common aspect of life, considering that everyone has unique life journeys and backgrounds.

It’s time for Hondo and Nichelle to face their first disagreement. Take a look at what it’s over.

A disagreement over daycare in SWAT season 8, episode 7

In some great news, we will get Nichelle back. Rochelle Aytes was demoted to recurring guest star this season for various reasons. While it’s meant that we’ve seen less of Hondo’s home life, it doesn’t mean we see none of it at all. We’re going into his home life in the new episode.

It’s now becoming necessary to enroll their child in a daycare facility, but they seem hesitant due to disagreements about which provider to choose. As a parent myself, I find it surprising that this hasn’t been planned for earlier, given the usual waitlists associated with many daycare providers. If they aren’t considering a private home daycare with ample room, finding an opening so swiftly would be quite fortunate.

It’s possible that the disagreement stems from this issue – perhaps they missed their chance and now struggle to find a fitting replacement.

Regarding Hondo, he’s got a challenging situation ahead as he guides 20-Squad. It appears there might be an instance of an honor killing, with two students suffering severe attacks. Given this case’s sensitive nature and potential implications, it may spark some concerns for Hondo, which could pave the way for discussions about daycare providers with Nichelle.

Take a look at the synopsis for SWAT season 8, episode 7:

In this situation, the 20-Squad team is considering if the attack on two students could be an instance of an honor killing. Simultaneously, Hondo and Nichelle find themselves in their initial disagreement as they search for an appropriate daycare for their child.
