  • Built by 40 Honda engineers using advanced tech and Pokémon collaboration to bring the Legendary Pokémon to life

In 2025, during the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race from August 1st to 3rd, Honda will display its innovative Koraidon mobility concept. This concept is modeled after a popular Pokémon character from Pokémon Scarlet and combines Honda’s traditional manufacturing skills with advanced technologies, creating a nearly life-sized, mobile replica of the beloved creature.

Starting from next month, you can check out the Koraidon at the Honda Racing Gallery on August 1st and 2nd, which was previously unveiled at the Honda Welcome Plaza earlier this year. On August 3rd, the concept is set to perform its inaugural public “Sprinting Build” demonstration during the pre-race event, offering spectators a peek into its movement abilities.

This project brings together approximately 40 engineers from Honda, representing a fun yet technologically advanced reaction to Toyota’s Miraidon initiative. The Honda Koraidon showcases lifelike dimensions, self-balancing technology, and a design reminiscent of its virtual counterpart in the game. In partnership with The Pokémon Company, the Honda Koraidon is part of an overarching goal to convert childhood fantasies into tangible reality using engineering and creativity.
