Zachery Ty Bryan’s fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, has been arrested again. She’s accused of attempting to hit Bryan with her car while their three young children were in the vehicle.
Police records obtained by the Daily Mail show that Bryan, 44, and Cartwright, 32, were arrested in Eugene, Oregon, on November 29th following an incident involving explosives.
According to police, the couple were driving with their children when Bryan got out of the truck and started walking along the road.
Police say Cartwright then tried to hit the man with her car, and in the process, drove into a ditch with the children still inside.
Both individuals were arrested. Police also reported that the actor, known for his work in home improvement television, was breaking a court order that prohibited him from contacting Cartwright.
On Wednesday, a judge rejected a request from Cartwright to change the terms of her release before her trial. This came after Us Weekly reported a warrant was issued for her arrest due to reported violations related to the incident.

Cartwright is scheduled to appear at another hearing on December 18.
According to jail records reviewed by Daily Mail, Bryan was issued no bail.
Police reported that Bryan managed to avoid injury by moving out of the way, even though both he and his fiancée had been drinking. Thankfully, no one in the truck was hurt.
Eyewitnesses to the incident were also interviewed at the scene, according to authorities.
Police reported that both Bryan and Cartwright were arrested. Bryan, an actor known for his work on Home Improvement, had broken a court order that required him to stay away from his fiancée.
Following further investigation, police arrested Cartwright and charged him with attempted assault, reckless endangerment (three counts), and driving under the influence.
Bryan was taken into custody for violating his probation related to a previous fourth-degree assault charge. The children affected by the case are now staying with a relative.
Court documents show that Cartwright has entered a not guilty plea to charges of driving under the influence, endangering others twice, and reckless driving three times.

I was shocked to see the details of what Bethany Cartwright was accused of when she was arrested. It wasn’t just a simple DUI – the records showed they were also looking at three counts of reckless endangerment and one of reckless driving, all misdemeanors. But the most serious charge was a felony – attempted assault. It’s a really concerning situation, and I’m following it closely.
Earlier this month, Bryan explained his recent arrest related to domestic violence by saying it was challenging to adjust from being a child star to having the responsibilities of an adult.
Bryan explained that his experiences as a young actor caused lasting emotional damage, which has contributed to legal problems he’s faced as an adult, even after more than twenty years.
Earlier this month, Bryan talked to TMZ after his ex-girlfriend successfully obtained a five-year restraining order against him due to a previous legal issue.
According to court documents obtained by the media, Bryan allegedly became physically violent with his ex-girlfriend on July 3rd.
According to legal documents reported by the outlet, Bryan’s ex-girlfriend claims she playfully bit his nipple, and he responded by punching her in the head.
The woman testified in court that the actor threatened her during their three-month relationship, reportedly saying, “Shut up or I’ll shut you up.” Despite this, no criminal charges have been filed against him.
Bryan explained to TMZ that becoming famous at such a young age – when he was nine – created pressures he wasn’t ready for. However, he acknowledges that this doesn’t excuse the decisions he’s made as an adult.
After his recent arrest, Bryan stated he’s focusing on personal growth to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
Bryan stated he understands that domestic violence is never okay. He expressed deep regret for his past mistakes, explaining they were caused by his immaturity and unusual upbringing.
Bryan shared that he’s dealt with ongoing challenges stemming from becoming famous at a young age, as well as struggles with addiction and making bad choices. He explained that these issues have caused pain to loved ones and have resulted in multiple legal problems, including driving under the influence and incidents of domestic violence.

Bryan stated that the recent events, including the restraining order and the serious claims made, have been a difficult and sobering experience for him.
The actor from ‘Guardians of Justice (Will Save You!)’ said he was particularly upset by the way his legal troubles have caused people to question his parenting.
Bryan admitted that being called a ‘bad dad’ really hurt, explaining that his children mean everything to him and he feels he hasn’t always lived up to their expectations.
Bryan, known for his role as Clay in the 2006 film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, is seeking help through therapy, including programs for drug rehabilitation and anger management.
Bryan was previously arrested in connection with domestic violence two times.
In October 2020, Bryan was arrested in Eugene, Oregon, following an incident with his partner at the time. He later pleaded guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault.

Bryan was arrested in Horry County, South Carolina in January for allegedly assaulting a woman, and the case is still being investigated.
Bryan co-starred with Tim Allen, Patricia Richardson, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, and Taran Noah Smith in 203 episodes of the show Home Improvement.
Allen shared with The Hollywood Reporter in 2022 that he was puzzled by Bryan’s behavior. He described Bryan as a good person who had become more complicated as he matured.
Sometimes, all you can do is give someone space to work through things on their own. Eventually, he changed into someone I didn’t recognize, responding to issues that were beyond my influence or control.
