Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart have reason to celebrate.
On Sunday, the actors from Home and Away posted a charming set of photos on Instagram, commemorating their one-year anniversary at Mimi’s restaurant in Sydney.
As I gazed upon this image, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Simply delightful!” This snapshot captured my friends savoring an exquisite dinner of oysters, caviar, and champagne at a renowned restaurant. The joy on their faces was truly heartwarming.
In the initial photograph, the joyous pair is clearly visible, flashing wide smiles while standing alongside a congratulatory card, celebrating their significant achievement.
In the photos, Ada donned a strapless maroon dress, letting her brown hair cascade down her shoulders.
She complemented her overall look with a Chanel handbag priced at approximately $5,300, a Cartier Love Bracelet costing about $19,300, and a Rolex Datejust watch that typically sells for around $12,189.
James opted for a neutral toned suit and a white button-up shirt.
Recently, Ada openly shared the story of how her Home and Away colleagues found out about her romantic relationship with James, behind the scenes.
In early 2024, the actors playing married characters on Channel Seven’s soap opera were rumored to be a couple after they were spotted sharing a kiss on Anzac Day. Later, one of them acknowledged their relationship in an interview for a magazine.
On the Mamamia’s No Filter podcast, the actress admitted that she had shared her close friendship on set with just a handful of individuals before news of her off-screen romance with her co-star started circulating among a larger group.
‘I figured I didn’t need to tell anyone else,’ she explained.
‘We didn’t need a group email, people just worked it out.’
In another part of the conversation, Ada confessed that initially it felt strange to develop feelings for her TV partner James.
For around a quarter of a century to three decades, Jimmy and I have shared a friendship, devoid of any romantic emotions for the most part. Yet, those feelings unexpectedly surfaced within me recently, leaving me astonished by their emergence.
A strange, unprecedented connection arose between us – an electric energy that hadn’t existed previously, leaving me perplexed.
In July, Ada finally broke her silence on her romance with James after months of speculation.
In an interview with a magazine, she affirmed that she had been romantically involved with her long-term colleague, James. She characterized their relationship as something that came as a surprise.
She shared with Stellar Magazine that Jimmy and I have started a relationship. It’s still quite new, having just happened recently and without much warning. But I’m absolutely thrilled about it, as it feels wonderful so far.
However, she clarified that the on-screen wedding of Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan, as portrayed in Home And Away, did not indicate an early blossoming of a real-life relationship between the actors playing these characters.
After parting ways with Adam Rigby around Christmastime in 2023, Ada entered a new relationship, while James ended his marriage to Sarah Roberts and moved on by April 2024.
