Sarah Roberts looked radiant at the Australian Women’s Film Festival this week.
Despite recently ending her marriage to James Stewart earlier this year and not being accompanied by a new partner, the 40-year-old actress from Home and Away appeared cheerful at the event.
Sarah brightened the red carpet in a vibrant yellow midi dress.
The dress fit Sarah beautifully, and its thin straps showed off her tanned, fit arms.
The actress completed her red carpet outfit with delicate, see-through heels and added two gold bracelets for a touch of sparkle.
She left her raven locks down to cascade playfully over her shoulders for the occasion.
Sarah tied her look together with a a soft rose lip.
She was very much in her element on the red carpet, beaming as she happily posed for photographers.
Sarah also found time to pose for some happy snaps with fellow Home and Away alum Sam Frost.
Sarah confirmed her new relationship in May, first sharing the news on the Something To Talk About podcast, and has since moved forward with it.
‘I’ve fallen in love with a man, I’m so in love,’ she said.
Sarah expressed her gratitude for her new partner, explaining that he’s helped her grow as a person in wonderful and surprising ways.
‘I finally found myself, as clichéd as that may sound,’ she continued.
Sarah also openly shared how painful it was to go through her divorce while being in the public spotlight.
Having to go through that publicly, and then seeing all the media coverage afterward, was incredibly painful and devastating.
I can’t control what others do or how they act, but I *can* control my own reactions and feelings. That’s what I’m responsible for.
It’s true that people who are hurting often end up hurting others, but those who’ve healed can help others do the same. I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made and have finally learned to love myself, something that didn’t come easily.
‘I have beaten myself up for a long time over the fact I stayed in something that wasn’t healthy.’
Taking to Instagram last week, Sarah revealed some details of her secret, newly minted romance.
After posting a picture of her with someone, Sarah confirmed to a fan that she is dating a new partner.
Sarah confirmed she does, playfully comparing her mystery man to superspy James Bond.
‘Yes! He makes me feel like I’m in a Bond film every day,’ Sarah exclaimed.
We love exploring new places, enjoying cocktails, and seeing the world together. He’s very private, so it often feels like we’re living like secret agents.
Okay, so I was chatting with Sarah, and she’s absolutely head-over-heels for her new guy! She confessed she might have accidentally let slip a clue about who he is in a comment she made online. It’s so cute when you’re falling for someone and can’t help but share little details!
Honestly, being with him is incredible. He gives me this exciting, confident energy – like I’m a Bond girl, but one who feels totally secure and at peace. It’s amazing! I even left him a little hint… you can thank me later!
Sarah and James got engaged in November 2018 and married in 2019. James proposed at the restaurant where they first met a year before.
The couple officially called it quits five years later, parting ways in March 2024.
Sarah starred on Home and Away from 2017 to 2021, before stepping away to focus on her film career.
James has since moved on with Home And Away co-star Ada Nicodemou.
