Home and Away star Isabel Lucas welcomes first child at age 40 as she shares touching image of the little boy

Isabel Lucas has welcomed her first child with her American partner, Cyrus Sutton. 

The actress, age 40, announced the birth of her son on Instagram Tuesday, sharing an adorable photo of the baby’s foot held in his father’s hand.

The Home and Away actress hasn’t shared her baby’s name or shown his face yet, but she did post a loving message about him.

“I see angels all around us,” Isabel started, “in meaningful coincidences, gut feelings, the people who care for us, and in the wisdom of nature and water.”

She went on, describing how even amidst hardship and joy, fear can transform into love. This creates opportunities and pathways forward.

We’re so grateful for everyone who supports us, both those we know and those we don’t. And with all our love, thank you to our wonderful son.

Isabel posted some beach photos of herself and Cyrus, highlighting her growing baby bump.

The veteran Australian actress announced that she was expecting her first child in October.

She wrote in the caption, ‘Sometimes it’s easy to express yourself, but other times things feel too big to put into words. All you can do is just feel.’

‘A new forever exists here. Among petals of silent wonder and pure love,’ she added. 

‘Together we hold this miracle with tender heartful hands.’

Isabel is expecting her first child, a wonderful surprise as she approaches her 41st birthday in January.

Isabel’s boyfriend, American film director Cyrus, also appeared in the pregnancy announcement. They publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram back in August.

The photos showed the couple embracing in front of a beautiful waterfall, with the 43-year-old Cyrus shirtless and displaying his physique.

‘Where dreams rest,’ the Australian star captioned the series of romantic images. 

I’ve been a huge fan of Cyrus for years! Not only does he direct incredible, award-winning documentaries – a lot of them about surfing, which is amazing – but he’s also a pro surfer himself. It’s seriously impressive how talented he is at both!

Cyrus landed an Emmy Award in 2005 for his film, Next Wave: A Tsunami Relief Story. 

Isabel shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her and her partner lovingly embracing and exchanging adoring glances.

It’s unclear how long the couple has been dating.

Isabel was last linked to a man named Samuel back in 2023. 

The actress prefers to keep her personal relationships private. She previously dated Chris Hemsworth in 2006, before he became famous with his role in Thor.

She’s been romantically connected to both indie pop musician Angus Stone and actor Adrian Grenier, known for his role in Entourage.
