Juliet Godwin, known for her role on the popular show Home and Away, has said goodbye to the series after three years. She shared a heartfelt message as she departs the Channel Seven drama.
The actress, 31, said goodbye to her fans after her last appearance as Dr. Bree Cameron on the show Thursday. She shared a touching message on social media thanking them for their support.
Hi everyone, today’s my last day here at the beach! I just wanted to thank Palm Beach, Summer Bay, and everyone who helped make my time so amazing,” Juliet said.
She playfully predicted viewers would miss seeing her on screen, then showed a highlight reel of her character’s best moments from the show.
She then paid tribute to her co-star and on-screen boyfriend Adam Rowland.
She shared fond memories of working together, playfully reminding Adsy that she always emphasized focus. She thanked Adsy, calling them the best, kindest, and funniest – or perhaps punniest – scene partner an actor could hope for, and gave a shout-out to Bremi before saying she misses Adsy.
‘We miss you dearly Dr Bree,’ wrote her co-star Ryan Bown.
Someone else chimed in, saying, “You’re incredibly graceful on screen and destined for big things!”
One person shared, ‘I’m so sad, I’m going to miss Bree,’ and another added, ‘Things just won’t be the same without her.’
Juliet has been popular with viewers of Home and Away since she started on the show in 2022, and talk started in July that she might be leaving.
Juliet landed her first significant television role on Home and Away, following a smaller part as Cara in the 2020 ABC drama, The Heights.
The star, who was born in Zimbabwe, told PerthNow that getting the part of Bree felt like a dream come true.
‘That I’m able to wake up and go to set every day and do what I love is such a gift,’ she said.
It comes just days after Juliet confirmed her engagement to her longtime love Sam Masters.
The actress who plays Dr. Bree Cameron on the Australian soap opera Home and Away announced some exciting news on Instagram last Tuesday.
She shared a photo of herself and her fiancé on a South African beach, writing, ‘October was a wonderful month, and here’s to a lifetime together!’
In the picture, the couple looked windswept as Juliet showed off the sparkler on her ring finger.
Friends, family, and Juliet’s co-stars from Home and Away all sent their congratulations and good wishes to the couple.
