Home Alone icon Daniel Stern was issued a citation for allegedly trying to hire an escort.
According to TMZ, the 68-year-old actor famous for his role in the popular Christmas movies was allegedly involved in soliciting a prostitute on December 10th in Camarillo, California.
He was reportedly at a hotel in Camarillo when he was cited by the police.
After leaving Hollywood for a completely different career path, Stern received a ticket instead of being arrested, so he didn’t need a mugshot.
Daily Mail has reached out to Stern’s representatives for comment.
Daniel Stern is well-known for his role as Marv, one of the silly burglars in the popular holiday movies Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), where he starred with a young Macaulay Culkin.

This follows David Stern’s hospitalization in October. He was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a health issue.
Stern was rushed to the emergency room on October 7, per TMZ.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to a home in Somis, California, for a medical issue.
It is unclear what the medical issue was.
Firefighters checked Stern’s condition at the scene and transported him to the hospital as a precaution. He has since been released and his representative has confirmed he is doing well.
Stern announced in December that he’s moved away from Hollywood and is now living on a farm, where he grows tangerines.
Although he was once a popular actor in a well-loved movie, he now leads a different life, working as a cattle rancher, growing tangerines, and creating sculptures.
Stern previously revealed he had to fight to get a raise for the Home Alone sequel.

Oh my gosh, when the first Home Alone totally blew up – it was HUGE! – I remember reading that John Hughes actually offered Leslie Stern six hundred THOUSAND dollars right away to get him working on a sequel. Can you believe it? They knew instantly it was gold and wanted more, and they were willing to pay big bucks to make it happen! It’s amazing to think about how quickly they moved after the first one became such a phenomenon.
In his autobiography, the actor shared that he was offered twice his original salary for the sequel, but his fellow cast members had been offered much more – starting at millions of dollars.
He explained that he requested a higher salary from Twentieth Century Fox, citing that Joe Pesci, who played his partner in crime Harry, was earning between $2 and $3 million.
In his book, he revealed that Macaulay Culkin, age 43, received a deal for a sequel worth $5 million, plus 5% of the movie’s total earnings at the box office.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York came out in November 1992, two years after the original film—which nearly didn’t get made at all—hit theaters.
Stern remembered it took producers half a year to finally offer him $600,000. While it was twice his previous salary, he felt it wasn’t as much as he’d expected.
I was really surprised to hear he initially asked for a raise, but ultimately chose to keep talking with the studios. Apparently, he found out his co-star was set to earn more than four times his salary, and that changed things. It’s tough when you find out about that kind of disparity, but he’s handling it by staying at the table.
‘I asked if that was the same as Joe [Pesci] was getting, and they said it was not,’ he said.

Stern said the studio later offered him $800,000, but he’d already discovered that Pesci was being paid between $2 million and $3 million, plus a share of the movie’s profits.
He refused the six-figure offer because he wanted to earn at least half as much as his co-star.
When his agent advised him against it and to just take the offer, Stern said he fired him.
In retrospect, Stern admitted it was a boastful move, but he also stated that if that was the best his agent could negotiate, ‘then he wasn’t very good at his job.’
He explained to the Los Angeles Times that he ultimately agreed to the deal because he values things beyond just the financial gain from the films.
