Night Ranger is often remembered for their hit song “Sister Christian,” but they actually achieved much more success. Between 1984 and 1985, the band had five songs break into the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Night Ranger’s new tour kicks off April 17th, and you’ll probably hear all their classic hits played live. They’ll be performing in cities like Wheatland, California; Dickinson, South Dakota; and Lincoln City, Indiana. While it’s not a massive arena tour, it promises to be a great show.

1980s hit-makers Night Ranger are hitting the road in 2026
Okay, so Night Ranger never really stopped making music, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. They’ve put out a ton of albums – thirteen, actually – and were pretty consistent with new releases for a while, dropping one every three or four years from 2007 to 2021. But it’s been six years since their last studio album now. I’m hoping this tour reignites their creativity and gets them back in the studio, because I’d love to hear some new stuff from them!
If you are a fan of the band, you can hope. They might never be able to make another “Sister Christian” or “Sentimental Street,” though.
