Hollywood vet, 60, has worked with Jennifer Aniston and made two films with Liam Neeson, who is she?

She is a Hollywood movie star who has been working in showbusiness for nearly four decades.

The well-known actress, who is 60 years old, has worked with many famous stars in major films and television shows.

Born in Indiana but raised in South Africa, the filmmaker has collaborated with Liam Neeson on two films: Schindler’s List and Retribution.

The actor has appeared alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in the series The Morning Show, and also worked with Jon Hamm on Mad Men.

And the mother-of-two shared the screen with Liev Schreiber on his hit show Ray Donovan.

The performer made a rare sighting in Los Angeles this week. Can you guess who she is?

She is Embeth Davidtz.

A woman who lives in Los Angeles was seen walking through a parking lot on Thursday while she was out running errands.

She appeared young and relaxed, wearing a simple outfit of a white T-shirt, dark gray cardigan, black jeans, and white Adidas sneakers.

Her hair was pulled back and she had light makeup on as she chatted on her cell phone. 

The artist has also starred in popular movies like Matilda, Bridget Jones’ Diary, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Davidtz is also a familiar face on television, with appearances in shows like In Treatment, Californication, and Mad Men.

Davidtz was born in Lafayette, Indiana then moved to New Jersey and finally South Africa.

She began her acting career performing in theater in Cape Town, South Africa. In 1988, she made her film debut with a supporting role in the horror film, Mutator, followed by the TV movie, A Private Life.

Steven Spielberg saw her acting in the 1992 South African movie, Nag van die Negentiende, and was so impressed he cast her as Helen Hirsch in Schindler’s List.

Then her career took off.

In 1992, Davidtz appeared as Sheila in the movie Army of Darkness with Bruce Campbell. She followed that up in 1995 with roles in the fact-based film Murder in the First, starring Christian Slater, and the independent film Feast of July.

In 1996, she appeared alongside Danny DeVito in the popular children’s film Matilda, which quickly became a beloved classic.

She then appeared in two major films: Fallen, alongside Denzel Washington, and The Gingerbread Man with Kenneth Branagh.

In 1999, actress Jena Malone starred in the film Mansfield Park, a comedy based on Jane Austen’s novel. She then acted alongside Robin Williams in Bicentennial Man.

In the 2001 movie Bridget Jones’ Diary, she appeared alongside Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth, playing Natasha, a woman who pursued a romantic relationship with Mark Darcy (played by Firth).

Soon after she was seen in 2001’s Thirteen Ghosts alongside Tony Shalhoub and The Emperor’s Club.

In 2005, she played a character in Junebug then worked on Grey’s Anatomy as Nancy Shepherd.

Between 2009 and 2012, she was known for her role as Rebecca Pryce on Mad Men. Afterward, she played Felicia Koons in Californication.

She then landed a major role in the 2011 hit movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, alongside Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.

She appeared in both The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), portraying Peter Parker’s mother, Mary Parker.

In 2016, she joined the cast of Ray Donovan.

From 2019 to 2021, Davidtz appeared alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in the series The Morning Show.

The actress, a frequent presence at red carpet events, married lawyer Jason Sloane in 2002, and they share two children. Sloane represents several well-known actors, including Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Tom Hardy, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith, and Anne Hathaway.

After being diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2013, Davidtz received a combination of treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery to remove lymph nodes, and a double mastectomy.
