As a passionate observer of Hollywood and politics, I find myself captivated by the intriguing journey of Zachary Levi, an actor who has never shied away from expressing his opinions, even when they may not align with the mainstream. His life experience is a testament to the power of conviction and the importance of staying true to oneself, regardless of the consequences.

It’s been reported that Zachary Levi, known for his role in Shazam!, expressed disappointment upon not achieving fame similar to Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) or Chris Evans, possibly due to his support of Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election.

Last month at a Team Trump’s ‘Reclaim America Tour’ event held in Michigan, Levi, aged 44, expressed his backing for the ex-president.

On stage, he stated that his endorsement was equivalent to a potentially career-ending move in extremely progressive Hollywood.

According to a source who allegedly knows him well, it is said that the actor, Levi, harbored feelings of bitterness due to his inability to achieve top-tier status within the entertainment industry.

According to a source speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, when he got the role of Shazam, it had always been his dream. He believed this was his chance to become like Dwayne Johnson or Chris Evans. However, things didn’t work out as planned for him, and he now harbors feelings of resentment about the situation.

Starting from 2017, Levi moved to a vast, 75-acre cattle farm situated close to Austin, Texas following the sale of his LA home, as reported by Men’s Journal.

In the following two years, he made his debut in the initial Shazam! film, a performance that was favorably received by critics and also generated sufficient revenue to warrant a second installment.

Last year, when Shazam! Fury of the Gods graced our screens, I was beyond excited, being an obsessed fan. But alas, it faced a harsh reception from critics and underperformed at the box office.

In 2021, I had the pleasure of joining an exceptional ensemble for the fantastical comedy “Harold and the Purple Crayon,” alongside talents such as Lil Rel Howery, Alfred Molina, and Zooey Deschanel. It was a truly magical experience!

The movie debuted in August but struggled to recoup its production costs and currently has a low 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a popular review aggregator site.

Lately, Levi has taken on roles in religious-themed films such as the 2021 production “American Underdog” and the upcoming 2022 film titled “The Unbreakable Boy.

A month following the flop of “Harold And The Purple Crayon” at the box office, Levi made his appearance at a Michigan event, where he openly supported Trump.

During his role as host for Team Trump’s “Reclaim America” Tour in September, Levi, aged 44, disclosed his intention to cast his vote for the ex-president in the forthcoming election.

Following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s withdrawal from the contest, Levi expressed that among the remaining candidates, it is Trump who appears capable of leading us to our destination.

This year, I discovered Bobby Kennedy, and I mused, wow, he’s the one. This is how the lead actor expressed it.

In an ideal scenario, maybe I would have chosen Bobby as my candidate, but regrettably, we don’t inhabit such an ideal world. Instead, we find ourselves living in a deeply flawed one.

He continued: ‘We live in a country that has been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this place way off the cliff. And we’re here to stop that, right?’

The crowd started cheering for the Hollywood star as he used Trump’s coined phrase: ‘We are going to make America great again!’

In summary, Levi expressed support for both Bobby and Tulsi, as well as anyone else backing President Trump. He believes that out of the two options available to us, President Trump is the one who can lead us forward.

He added that Trump will get America there because he has ‘the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge, and the fight’ that RFK and US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard have.

Looking back on 2020, I, much like many others, found myself not aligning with the Republican party and its then-candidate, Donald Trump. However, fast forward to today, my political stance has evolved, and I now find myself endorsing him.

I’m not a fan or advocate of Donald Trump, as I believe his actions are uncouth, insensitive, self-centered, and devoid of compassion.

He had previously tweeted that, although he himself isn’t a Conservative, there are many people who supported the 45th president not out of admiration for him, but rather because they believed he was the one who genuinely addressed their concerns and needs.

Levi has consistently maintained a particular viewpoint in political matters, having earlier expressed doubts about vaccines and voiced criticism towards the SAG-AFTRA strike.

The actor additionally shared his feelings about holding Dwayne Johnson accountable following the underperformance of the DC superhero film, Shazam, at the box office.

Shortly following a bombshell revelation suggesting that Johnson, the actor from Black Adam, rejected a potential appearance by Levi, he verified the news himself.

In 2019, Levi took the lead in Shazam!, a movie that performed well but didn’t break box office records. It opened to $53.5 million in the U.S., eventually earning a total of $140.4 million domestically and $366 million globally. With a budget of $100 million and positive reviews (91% on Rotten Tomatoes), it was a solid film overall.

Levi returned for the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which debuted over the weekend with a disappointing $30.1 million opening weekend and 51% on RT.

According to a report by The Wrap, it was disclosed that Johnson blocked the inclusion of a role for Levi as Shazam in Black Adam, as well as an after-credits sequence featuring additional members of Black Adam’s Justice Society of America.

It appears that some insiders believe Johnson’s efforts to place his Black Adam character at the heart of the DC Universe might have negatively impacted not only the Black Adam series but also the Shazam franchise. However, it seems Levi indirectly verified this report through a thoughtfully-written Instagram story post.

In simpler terms, Levi posted something on social media that mentioned both him and Johnson. He included a personal message at the end that read “The truth shall set you free,” accompanied by an emoticon showing a flipped smiley face and praying hands.

Levi is one of the numerous well-known figures who have publicly declared their support for Trump, a group that includes Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, Dana White, Amber Rose, Jason Aldean, Dave Portnoy, Elon Musk, Roseanne Barr, and Azealia Banks, among others.
