Hollywood star looks unrecognisable as she is spotted mixing with locals at Sydney’s Bondi markets
Tyra Banks was spotted casually wandering around a trendy Sydney hotspot on Monday.
The renowned American model and actress was spotted wandering around the Bondi markets, taking a leisurely look at the various goods on display by locals.
In the crowd, a 51-year-old individual mingled with locals who seemed oblivious that they were interacting with someone well-known or famous.
Last week, Tyra, while not on duty, appeared completely different in a form-fitting black top and stylish black and gray three-quarter leggings featuring a patterned design.
She put on a casual, unbuttoned blouse as an outer layer and held a spacious, relaxed leather handbag.
Tyra accessorized her style with a broad, black headband and a set of sunglasses, keeping a ponytail band on her arm.
After considering her memorable return to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year, which happened almost twenty years since she retired from the lingerie brand’s runway to focus on other entertainment ventures, she reflected upon it.
On The Drew Barrymore Show, during their conversation about wrapping up the show, Tyra shared her genuine happiness upon stepping back into her position as a Victoria’s Secret Angel for the night.
As the host praised Banks for appearing confident and fully immersed during her runway strut, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride as if I were her myself – for she had beautifully articulated the sensation I felt when shaking off the dust from my wings after such a long hiatus.
Instead of saying that she “would walk” for herself in previous years, the Life-Size actress explained that this time, it felt as though everyone was with her, inside her, as she stepped onto the stage.
50-year-old women, or insecure women, Banks expressed enthusiastically, “I felt there was something more to me. When I watched the playback, it was like a series of explosions – boom, boom, boom. I was walking heavily because I felt like I was a container rather than it being solely about me. It was an entirely new experience.
The America’s Next Top Model creator also reflected on how her body has changed over the years.
She mentioned that one significant change was her breasts being significantly larger due to a weight difference of approximately 40-50 pounds from her retirement days on the runway. She joked about them not falling out during her performance.
As a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Banks strutted down the runway for nine different shows, ultimately deciding to retire from modeling in 2005.
Victoria’s Secret announced in August that Banks would be joining the star-studded fashion show.
Tyra teamed up with Gigi to confirm the event’s return after a six-year hiatus.
In a video on Instagram, Tyra gave Gigi an invite for the upcoming show, silently saying ‘I’ll see you there’. In response, Hadid said ‘I love you.’
She also teased her appearance the following month in a TikTok video.

In 2009, she opened up about no longer believing in diets.
She mentioned on The Tyra Show in 2009 that she had tried dieting in the past, and in her opinion, they are not effective or genuine.
