Hollywood star is announced as a surprise headliner for BST Hyde Park - and he's set to perform a medley of classics from his 30-year career

As a devoted fan of Hugh Jackman, I can hardly contain my excitement about his upcoming performance at BST Hyde Park next summer! This man has had an incredible career spanning over three decades, and it all started with his role as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast in Australia. From there, he went on to become an Olivier-nominated performer in the West End’s Oklahoma! and a Tony Award-winning actor in Broadway’s The Boy from Oz.

Delighted to share some exciting news! As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be gracing the stage at BST Hyde Park next summer! This unexpected addition promises to bring a dash of Tinseltown charm to an already stellar lineup. Can’t wait for what promises to be a memorable event!

56-year-old actor from The Greatest Showman, who is also known for his extensive stage career, will be performing a mix of well-known hits from various stage roles during his show titled “From London With Love.” This event promises to be an unforgettable experience!

Over the course of more than 30 years, Hugh Jackman has made a name for himself by portraying Wolverine in the X-Men series, yet it was on the stage of musical theater where he first launched his career, starting with his role as Gaston in the Australian production of Beauty and the Beast.

This resulted in an Olivier-award nominated act on London’s Oklahoma! stage, as well as a Tony-winning character in New York’s The Boy from Oz on Broadway.

In 2012, he made a comeback to musicals through the film Les Miserables, followed by another musical, The Greatest Showman, in 2017. Then, in 2021, he came back to the Broadway stage with a successful revival of The Music Man.

Following the announcement of “Hugh Jackman Live: From New York With Love” at Radio City Music Hall for a series of US concerts in 2025, Hugh is set to travel to the UK for his performance thereafter.

Tickets for BST Hyde Park will go on general sale on November 6 at 10am.

The news emerges as whispers circulate about Hugh potentially being in a relationship with his Broadway collaborator, Sutton Foster, following her divorce filing from husband Ted Griffin just recently.

2022 saw me sharing the stage with the legendary Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in the Broadway production of The Music Man – an experience that left me spellbound! Interestingly, it was just a year before he made headlines with his separation from Deborra-Lee Furness, ending their 27-year marital journey.

Ever since our time sharing the stage on Broadway, I just can’t shake off this feeling that something magical happened between us. Rumors about our relationship have been swirling around in Broadway circles, and I must admit, it feels like my heart skips a beat every time I hear Page Six mention that Sutton and Hugh might have fallen for each other. The thought of them together just makes me go weak in the knees!

According to a source, they have a strong commitment to each other, are deeply in love, and aspire to share the remainder of their lives with one another.

According to reports, the couple seems to be doing well, though they’ve managed to keep their romance private, as per sources.

‘They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge.

Hugh and Sutton both have extensive experience in musical theater. Hugh often displays his singing and dancing talents in various performances, whereas Sutton is renowned for her exceptional vocal and dance abilities.

Born in Georgia in 1975, Sutton has spent three decades immersed in the world of drama, with experience in theater, movies, television, and even singing.

The two-time Tony Award winner shares a common history with Hugh, as they both originated in theater and maintain a persistent enthusiasm for live presentations.

In addition to this, they are all parents through adoption. Sutton and her former husband Ted are the happy parents of a 7-year-old girl named Emily, while Hugh has two children, Oscar, aged 24, and Ava, who is 19, with his ex-wife Deborra-Lee.

They were actively engaged in different philanthropic projects, leveraging their resources to promote art education and numerous other worthy causes.

As a devoted theater enthusiast, I’ve had the privilege to grace stages worldwide, taking on iconic roles such as Sandy in Grease, the eponymous character in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical.

Last September, Hugh initiated a divorce proceeding from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, who is now 68, marking the end of their 27-year-long marriage.

In their own words, they expressed that for nearly three decades, they’ve been fortunate to live as a married couple, cherishing every moment of their beautiful and loving partnership. However, they’ve chosen to take a new path separately, focusing on personal development.

The former pair share two adopted children together, son Oscar, 24, and daughter Ava, 19.
