Hollywood Icon Olive Sturgess Passes Away at 91: A Life of Stardom and Friendship

Hollywood pinup actress Olive Sturgess has died at the age of 91. 

The movie and TV star’s family confirmed on Thursday that she had passed on February 19. 

In the 1950s, a petite, attractive woman with fair hair, who counted Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, and Roger Moore among her friends, gained fame as a regular cast member on The Bob Cummings Show.

And she was also on the top TV shows of her day.

Sturgess made guest appearances on television series such as West Point, Perry Mason, Panic!, and The Donna Reed Show.

Additionally, she appeared on shows such as Hawaiian Eye, The Danny Thomas Show, Petticoat Junction, Dr. Kildare, and Ironside.

Olive was born in Canada but moved to California in 1954 where she pursued her acting career.
