Hollywood Icon Mickey Rourke Already Favoured to Conquer Celebrity Big Brother!
It’s been predicted that Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke is among the top contenders for winning Celebrity Big Brother this year, following the announcement of the complete cast earlier this week.
The veteran boxer, aged 72, has made some of the most significant contracts in the show’s history, and given his public disputes with Robert De Niro, multiple marriages, and numerous high-profile romantic involvements, it seems he’s a strong contender for the title.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be part of an exciting social experiment alongside Chris Hughes, Daley Thompson (the Olympic legend), JoJo Siwa, and Patsy Palmer. Can’t wait to embark on this journey together!
Trisha Goddard, Donna Preston, Jack P. Shepherd from Coronation Street, Chesney Hawkes, Ella Rae Wise of TOWIE, Michael Fabricant, and Angellica Bell have all been nominated as well.
Drag Queen Danny Beard is also said to be arriving as a late entry.
According to the latest stats from Card Player, the Oscar nominee stands as the second most likely contender with odds of 4/1. Danny Beard currently leads the race with a higher likelihood, as he’s the favorite at 3/1.

Liam Solomon, a representative for Card Player, stated that the news about Mickey Rourke participating in Celebrity Big Brother has stirred excitement among fans, causing them to flood social media. Currently, odds have been set at 4/1 for this Hollywood star to win the competition.
American singer JoJo is also participating in the contest, and she shares the odds of 7/1 with Trisha.
Currently, Chesney and Patsy’s chances of winning have decreased slightly due to the arrival of new contenders. They are now priced at 5/1 and 11/2 odds respectively for a victory.
Reports suggest that Mickey, with an estimated net worth of around £3.8 million ($5 million), is earning a substantial six-digit salary for his appearance on the ITV program.
Nevertheless, concerns persist that the renowned actor might opt to exit the Big Brother house prematurely, a development that broadcasters describe as an undesirable outcome or potential complication.
According to a source from TopMob, the last time he was extremely prominent was during his role in ‘The Wrestler.’ Just like anyone else, he also has financial obligations that need attention.
Performing the show is an obvious choice due to his abundance of captivating narratives, unpredictable nature, and high-profile status in the industry. He’s like gold for any producer!
Producers often anticipate a dramatic turn of events (train-wreck) yet unveiling a fresh aspect of Mickey can also be successful.

If he were to depart prematurely, that would be the most unfavorable outcome. During his participation in The Masked Singer some time back, he chose to withdraw from the competition.
1986 marked the pinnacle of Mickey’s Hollywood journey as he secured the main male part in the sensual drama “9 1/2 Weeks,” sharing the screen with Kim Basinger.
In the 1980s, Mickey gained widespread recognition and found himself highly demanded in Hollywood, landing significant parts in movies such as Rumble Fish, Angel Heart, Francesco, and Johnny Handsome.
In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed that sometimes, even the most promising careers can take unexpected turns. For instance, though he was a prominent figure in the movie industry and boxing world, he found himself stepping back from leading roles. Opportunities like Rain Man, Platoon, and The Untouchables came his way, but he chose to decline them.
1991 saw him stepping into the professional boxing world at the age of 38, competing in the light heavyweight category. He hung up his gloves for good, remaining undefeated, in 1995.
Previously, Mickey has been candid about the evolutions in his appearance over time, admitting that he primarily opted for plastic surgery to reconstruct his face as a result of boxing-related injuries.
In 2009, he explained to DailyMail.com that most of the surgery was to fix the damage from his boxing and he unfortunately chose an inexperienced surgeon for the procedure.

Rourke added, “My nose was broken twice, and I’ve undergone five surgeries on it. Additionally, I had one operation on a fractured cheekbone.
During my medical procedure, a piece of cartilage was removed from my ear to reconstruct my nose. Subsequently, I underwent multiple surgeries to clear out the cartilage as the scar tissue wasn’t healing correctly. I can confidently say that this surgery was one of the most excruciating experiences I have encountered.
In the past, he struggled with addictions to both drugs and alcohol, a struggle that has been widely recognized. He’s admitted responsibility for the downward trajectory of his career throughout the years.
Mickey has shared his feelings of remorse regarding his decision to use steroids and consume large meals six times daily to bulk up for the 2008 film, The Wrestler.
