Hollywood hunk Timothée Chalamet bucks tradition by arriving at Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown premiere on a LIME BIKE (and doesn’t forget to successfully end his ride!)

At the UK premiere of the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, held at BFI Southbank on Tuesday, Timothée Chalamet made an eye-catching entrance on a Lime bicycle, setting himself apart from the crowd.

The 28-year-old actor, known for portraying the legendary “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” singer, aged 83, gracefully navigated the red carpet on a green bicycle. He later concluded his journey using his smartphone.

He looked sharp and stylish, dressed in a black blazer and coordinating pants, under which he wore a blue, patterned satin shirt.

Timothee attended the event alone on the red carpet, as Kylie Jenner, his high-profile partner, chose not to join him. Over the past two years, they’ve mostly kept their relationship away from the public eye.

Ever since I learned that Timothée Chalamet has been secretly honing his vocal skills for a staggering five years to portray the legendary Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown,” I can’t help but feel a sense of awe and excitement! It’s mind-blowing to think about the dedication and passion he must have poured into this role, and I simply cannot wait to witness his incredible performance on the big screen.

In this production scheduled for release in January, the 28-year-old actor portraying the renowned musician, aged 83, not only acts but also performs the songs live, with him being the singer and musician on stage.

On The Graham Norton Show this past Friday, he confessed to having limited knowledge of Bob previously, but has since developed a profound appreciation for the influence he’s had on culture.

As a dedicated follower, I’ve had ample opportunity to hone my skills due to the five-and-a-half-year delay in filming. First came the Covid pandemic, then an actor’s strike followed. This extended timeline has granted me a valuable chance to prepare thoroughly for our project.

With growing confidence, I found myself eager to perform my singing and play the songs live as our movie project progressed.

I’ve confessed, I wasn’t well-versed in Dylan’s works earlier, but after dedicating such a considerable amount of time to them, I find myself wholeheartedly devoting my admiration to Bob, almost as if I’m a devoted worshiper at his church.

As a connoisseur of lifestyle trends, I simply can’t help but be captivated by this remarkable individual and his extraordinary contributions to our world. My circle of friends has become accustomed to my endless discussions on the subject, which I must admit, they find rather exhausting at times.

This gentleman left a significant mark on our culture, and among his works, it’s these particular films and this specific role that I feel the proudest about.

The actor nominated for an Oscar, who hadn’t met the music legend before portraying him in the movie, received critical acclaim for rescuing the film from its shortcomings, even though it had several imperfections.

Timothée shared: “I’ve always found Bob to be an enigmatic, quiet individual, making it difficult for me to have a conversation with him. As a result, we never had the opportunity to connect personally.

In awe of who he is, I yearn deeply to encounter him, yet I acknowledge and cherish the authenticity of his character that seems to keep us apart.

In this new portrayal, Elle Fanning takes on the role of Sylvie Russo, a character based on Bob’s girlfriend during that period, and Monica Barbaro steps into the part previously held by Joan Baez.

The film focuses on the significant change in music style by the singer-songwriter, who caused a stir when he started using electric equipment during the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.

It’s been confirmed that Timothée Chalamet, alongside Edward Norton and Boyd Holbrook, will be performing his own songs in the upcoming film, following his vocal contributions to the 2023 musical movie “Wonka.

According to Director James Mangold, he’s collaborated with Bob on this specific project, and Bob even contributed some of his own ideas to the script’s development.

On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the filmmaker shared that he had delightful, private conversations with him for several days.

I possess a special script, marked up by him and valuable to me. It’s no secret that he’s a movie enthusiast. During my initial conversation with Bob, one of his first remarks to me was, “I’m really fond of Cop Land.

Although the image portrays his early life stages, it’s important to note that A Complete Unknown isn’t just a traditional biography focusing on the musician’s life.

He explained: ‘By the way, it’s not really a Bob Dylan biopic.’

He stated: “Bob’s strong support for our project stems from the fact that, in my opinion, exceptional true-to-life films aren’t always from ‘cradle to grave.’ Instead, they focus on a particularly significant moment.

The speaker mentioned that the story resembles Altman’s style, but it’s essentially a collective narrative set during the 60s in New York City. This tale revolves around a 17-year-old boy who had only $16 on him, and by hitchhiking, he embarked on a journey to meet Woody Guthrie, who was in the hospital, battling a nerve disease and nearing his end.

In late August, shortly following the release of the initial trailer, Timothée shared on Instagram the poster for the eagerly awaited movie, offering a glimpse of the actor portraying a New York resident in action.

And he has been seen channeling the singer on set on various occasions.

A reliable source near the actor confided that there’s much riding on his performance: “He feels the weight of high expectations. If Timothée Chalamet stumbles in portraying Bob Dylan, passionate fans might criticize harshly.

The title, “A Complete Unknown,” echoes the famous rock anthem by Dylan that significantly altered his career, known as “Like a Rolling Stone.
