Hollywood hunk shares throwback picture of himself and pokes fun at his teenage appearance… but can you guess who it is?

Fans were surprised by a recent Instagram post showing this popular and highly-decorated actor looking much younger in an old photo.

The wrestling icon playfully mentioned needing a training bra, and he looked considerably different in the past.

Posing shirtless with a flexed bicep, the acting star wore a pair of red and black shorts.

Since that picture was taken, the Hawaii native has achieved great success, appearing in major Disney movies and the popular Jumanji films.

I’ve been a huge fan of this guy for years! He’s famous for being incredibly fit and having those over-the-top, but lovable, one-liners. But it’s not just acting – he became a massive star in wrestling too, and for a long time, he was one of the highest-paid actors around. He really did it all!

But can you guess who it is?

That’s right, it is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

He shared the sweet Polaroid snap of his teenage self to celebrate the New Year.

He shared a message with his post: ‘Thirteen years old, from Honolulu, Hawaii. I’ve got a little bit of hair and two gold chains. And, well, let’s just say I’m still growing up! But hey, there’s potential in everyone. Happy New Year to all my friends!’

He’s become a huge movie star thanks to the success of the Fast & Furious films, plus starring roles in popular movies like Jumanji and Red Notice on Netflix.

Dwayne followed in the footsteps of his family when he became a wrestler. His maternal grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, wrestled in the 1960s, and his father, Soulman Rocky Johnson, continued the tradition.

He first appeared in the World Wrestling Federation in 1996 under the name Rocky Maivia. However, as he became internationally famous, he was rebranded as the popular antagonist, The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson was no stranger to performing, having experience with the showmanship of wrestling. This helped him transition to Hollywood, and he quickly became a popular actor after appearing in The Mummy Returns in 2001.

He followed The Mummy Returns with The Scorpion King (2002) and The Rundown (2003). 

He initially retired from boxing in 2004 to focus on acting, but later came back in 2011 and began doing both.

Dwayne shot to fame and has starred in major roles, including G.I. Joe, Moana, and Baywatch.

He didn’t just achieve professional success; he also found love with musician Lauren Hashian.

He and his wife have two daughters, Jasmine and Tiana. He also has an older daughter, Simone, from a previous relationship with Dany Garcia.
