For quite some time, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been ardent admirers of the beautiful island of Mallorca. They are delighted to call themselves the proprietors of a sprawling 250-acre estate there.

In 1989, Michael and his wife, Diandra Luker, jointly purchased a beautiful island property for approximately $3.5 million. Despite their separation in 2000, they continued to co-own the property, spending six months there annually.

In 2014, a property situated along the dramatic Balearic coastline was listed for sale by Sotheby’s at an astounding price of $60 million.

In 2017, the pair was compelled to reduce the property’s price to $45 million. Later, in January 2018, they had to lower it further to $40 million. Ultimately, the high-end real estate agents removed the house from the market after these reductions.

The property provides seven living spaces, which can house approximately 20 guests. These spaces are distributed among five apartments, a loft, and two cottages, covering nearly 11,000 square feet in total.

Back in 2016, it came to light that Brad Pitt acquired a property in Mallorca. The renowned celebrity spent €3.5 million on a house located in Port d’Andratx.
