Hollywood golden couple with 18 year age-gap spotted during rare outing… can you guess who these stars are?

A famous couple, despite an 18-year age difference, appeared very much in love while enjoying a relaxed walk.

They met when he was 21 and she was 39, but their age difference didn’t matter – they got married in 1980.

This couple first connected while performing in the play The Elephant Man, and they later appeared together in an episode of the 1980s television series Hotel.

She’s known for her roles in movies like The Rare Breed and Avanti!, while he became famous for appearing with Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1982 film Grease 2 and later playing Miles on the TV show Dynasty.

Despite being married for 45 years, the couple still showed a sweet connection, holding hands as they walked through a tree-lined area of Los Angeles on November 23rd.

The couple were spotted last weekend, holding hands during a quiet stroll in a neighborhood.

They clearly wanted to capture the memory, and Caulfield had brought a nice camera to do so.

Caulfield wore a purple turtleneck, black jeans, and a blue sweater. His girlfriend chose violet leggings, a blue sweater, and a Patagonia vest.

Hand in hand and with a relaxed air to them, the duo were the epitome of couples goals. 

They connected immediately after meeting while performing together in The Elephant Man on tour in the US.

‘We were instant friends, immediately attracted,’ she told Weekend Magazine in 2019.

She said she believes in reincarnation and felt like she’d met Maxwell before, perhaps in a past life. It was as if recognizing an old friend, she explained – a feeling of ‘There you are!’

‘It was a full-blown romance,’ adds Maxwell.

‘Maxwell is very romantic, very protective and my best friend.

He also helped plan our wedding, and it was incredibly romantic. We got married at sunrise on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The couple got married at Point Dume in Malibu, and then celebrated with a small reception at the home of Mills’ parents in Beverly Hills.

This was Caulfield’s first wedding, but Mills has been married twice before. She shares a son, Sean Caulfield, with her previous husband, Russell Alquist Jr., and a daughter, Melissa Caulfield, with ex-husband Michael Miklenda.

While Caulfield is now stepfather to Sean and Melissa, he doesn’t share any children with Mills.  

You know, I’ve seen so many couples, and age really is just a number! I was chatting with Caulfield recently, and she shared something really sweet. Even though she’s almost twenty years older than her partner, she genuinely believes she’s the one who keeps him feeling young and vibrant. It’s a testament to how energy and connection can outweigh everything else, isn’t it?

Speaking on Loose Women last year, he said: ‘Funnily enough, she’s the one who keeps me young.

‘It’s like a reverse process going on, it’s kind of spooky. It’s like “Slow down, will you?”

‘I don’t mean in the age department, either!’

Both actors continue to thrive in their careers. Mills recently appeared on Grey’s Anatomy, while Caulfield has been seen in The Bay and an episode of Landman.
