Hollywood A-listers leave holiday-goers stunned as they’re spotted boarding a public flight in Mexico City

Over the weekend, Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek astonished travelers by taking a commercial flight together from Mexico City.

Two well-known actors, who became friends during their collaboration on the 2021 Marvel film ‘Eternals’, were recently seen by travelers at the airport, gearing up for a trip to Veracruz, a coastal city in Mexico.

spectators watched in awe as Angelina, aged 50, and Salma, aged 58, engaged in a lengthy discussion, passing time as they waited to board their flight together.

With sunglasses hiding her eyes, the actress who played Puss in Boots, Salma, opted for a laid-back look during travel, donning a pair of gray joggers and a coordinating sweater.

On her recent birthday celebration last month, Angelina was spotted wearing a beige trench coat and dark shades as she traveled.

Upon touching down in the eastern Mexican metropolis of Veracruz, it was observed that the two celebrities dined together at an airport café.

As someone who once hinted at having fewer connections in Hollywood, I’ve found myself deeply bonding with Angelina and Salma over the past few years since our first encounter. This unexpected friendship has certainly enriched my life.

Initially, they developed a strong connection during their collaboration on the superhero film “The Eternals.” Angelina Jolie portrayed Thena, while Salma Hayek was cast as Ajak in this project.

In a subsequent turn of events, they reunited as they collaborated once more, with Angelina naming Salma for her role in the 2024 film titled “Without Blood.

During my recent conversation at the Toronto Film Festival last year, I couldn’t help but share the heartwarming bond I’ve formed with this dynamic duo. They’ve truly grown to feel like cherished members of my extended family.

Angelina’s vacation in Mexico with her friend occurs during her continuing legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 60, over their expansive vineyard, Château Miraval in Correns, France, where they were married. The vineyard, reportedly valued at $164M, is the source of their ongoing dispute.

In 2011, Angelina and Brad jointly bought a grand 35-room mansion for $28.4M. However, their partnership hit a snag in 2021 when she sold her share of the property to the Stoli Group without his consent, leading him to file a lawsuit. This action resulted in her filing a counterclaim.

Initially, the actress who played Maria proposed a settlement, but it’s said that she objected to the compulsory confidentiality clause and decided against it.

The disagreement between the famous duo has put a strain on Brad’s connection with their offspring.

On July 12, their shared children – Maddox (age 23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (19), and the twins Vivienne and Knox (17) – were born to the former partners.

In recent times, some of them have been shedding their last names from their nicknames, starting with Zahara being the initial one to do so.

Vivienne and Shiloh eventually did the same, leaving the long-time movie star with almost no communication with his grown-up kids.

Angelina filed for divorce from the actor in 2019 after five years of marriage.
