Holly Willoughby’s Racy Gown Sparks ‘Gaffer Tape’ Comparisons from Fans!
On the occasion of Sunday evening’s Dancing On Ice, Holly Willoughby showcased her stunning physique in a sleek black dress. However, some viewers drew parallels between the dress’s design and ‘tape used by builders (gaffer tape)’.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must confess that I felt utterly radiant when I donned that sleek, form-fitting strapless gown adorned with captivating metallic embellishments at the bust. It was a stunning sight to behold!
Holly showed off her long, slender legs with a bold, thigh-high slit dress and accentuated her height with sleek black heels.
Instead of keeping her long golden locks tightly bound, the ITV celebrity opted for cascading waves and added a touch of elegance with large, ornate gold earrings.
Despite several fans loving Holly’s dress some fans compared the ensemble to ‘gaffer tape’.
One wrote: ‘Holly appears to have found a new use for gaffer tape’.
Many people complimented Holly, saying things like, ‘Your dress is lovely, Holly! You truly shine tonight.’ or ‘You look amazing!’ or ‘You are simply stunning!’ or ‘Wow, you are fabulous!’
Viewers of Dancing on Ice expressed anger when they criticized a perceived unfair modification to the rules during the broadcast on Sunday night.
In a fresh new episode, the sparkling ITV program graced our TVs once more. This time around, an additional five celebrities stepped onto the ice alongside their skating companions for the initial time, following the successful premiere of the first six personalities last week.
Initially, viewers learned that a pair was set to exit the competition during the finale. However, they became disappointed when they found out there wouldn’t be a skate-off.
Previously, after a public vote, the two couples with the fewest votes would face off on the ice, and the judges would decide which couple would be eliminated from the competition.
Alternatively, Holly and Stephen Mulhern clarified that no skate-off was planned for this week. The couple with the fewest votes would be eliminated promptly.
Some viewers criticized it as an unfair decision, arguing that certain couples deserved another opportunity to showcase their talent through another performance.
The skating pair, in my opinion, deserves an additional week to perform. It seems unfair that they were eliminated so swiftly during their debut skating week.
Couldn’t there be no skate-off contest? What if more individuals had cast their votes either last week or this week? Aren’t there chances that someone might end up with an unfairly smaller number of votes as a result?
‘I still don’t get why there’s no Skate off till Week 5.’
Last Sunday the celebrities ended up really impressing the judges with their skating moves.
Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean gave a fantastic score of 30.5 to Michaela and her dance partner Mark Hanretty.
Coronation Street’s Sam shortly followed behind her with 27, while Ferne was given 26.5.
Chelsee landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with 22 points.
Earlier this week viewers the show faced viewer backlash after it’s launch episode on Sunday.
Fans claimed that the ending was too ‘abrupt’ due to the new format change.
Following half of the celebrities making their ice debut in this week’s premiere, while the remainder will take the stage next week, Torvill and Dean brought the ITV show’s inaugural episode to a close with a timeless rendition of “Let The Good Times Roll.
Consequently, the credits were swiftly shown without any ensuing outcome, as Stephen and Holly had announced earlier during the program that there wouldn’t be a Skate-Off for the initial fortnight of the competition.
Dancing On Ice will return to ITV and ITVX on Sunday 26th at 6:25pm.
