Holly Willoughby reunites with former ITV co-star after quitting show: “Missed you”

Former This Morning star Holly Willoughby has shared a reunion with a beloved ITV co-star.

During their stint on the comedy panel show “Celebrity Juice,” the TV host developed a strong bond of friendship with Leigh Francis, who is popularly recognized as Keith Lemon.

For twelve years, they collaborated together on the same show, with Holly serving as a team captain from its inception until 2020. However, this dynamic duo reconnected, posed for a selfie that they later posted on Instagram, and flashed their smiles for the camera.

Leigh shared a photo from their reunion with an old buddy, Holly Willoughby, on his page, captioned: “It was great catching up with you yesterday. We sure did miss you! See you soon x.

And the feeling was mutual, with Holly responding in the comments: “Missed you too darlin… ❤️”

In 2008, Holly, Leigh, and Fearne Cotton initially collaborated on the same show. However, Fearne departed from the team in 2018.

Two years after the Dancing on Ice presenter stepped down, Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore assumed their positions, replacing both the original presenter and Fearne.

Regarding her experience on Celebrity Juice, Holly shared with Comedy.co.uk: “Working on Celebrity Juice doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s more like showing up for a fun night out at my local pub quiz! I just come, have a good time, laugh, and then head home.

Regarding the moniker “Holly Willoughbooby” that Leigh created, she explained during a different conversation with The Guardian: “I’ve become quite accustomed to it in a short period of time. I am often addressed by this name daily, but I find it acceptable.

To put it simply, I hold him fully accountable for the situation – it’s all on him, really. But hey, if someone were to call my own little brother’s friend by my name, well, that’s just how it feels.

As I was scrolling through social media feeds, I stumbled upon some exciting news from none other than Bear Grylls himself! He hinted at a potential comeback of his hit Netflix show Bear Hunt, but this time around, it might have an intriguing twist.

During a chat on Radio 2, he shared his excitement about potentially recording it live for the first time by Netflix. If everything goes as planned, this will give viewers an unprecedented, raw, and real experience, almost like catching the action as it happens!

The inaugural print issue of Digital Spy’s British Comedy Legends magazine is available! You can purchase it from local newsstands or online, currently selling for only £3.99.
