Holly Valance and Nick Candy divorce turns messy as former soap star threatens to take him ‘for every penny’

Reports indicate that the unexpected separation between actress Holly Valance and wealthy real estate magnate Nick Candy might become a complicated affair.

Last week, it became public knowledge that the ex-Neighbours actress, aged 42, and her 52-year-old entrepreneur husband have ended their 13-year marriage.

As a die-hard devotee, I can’t help but share this intriguing tidbit: It seems my beloved idol, Valance, has sworn to empty Candy’s coffers, as their separation appears to be heading towards a bitter end.

According to a source, Holly is very distraught, with her primary focus being the well-being of their two daughters at all times. (The Sun, this week)

When it comes to the divorce proceedings, she’s unequivocally stated her intention to receive what is rightfully hers and will pursue every cent from Nick. She firmly believes that she is the wronged party in this situation.

At her extravagant 2012 wedding in Beverly Hills, it’s widely believed that Holly had previously agreed to a prenup. This means she could potentially receive a large sum of money upon divorce.

It’s been a particularly difficult period for Holly, and she’s shared with her friends that this separation wasn’t something she initiated.

‘Whatever the sum ends up being, it will be in the tens of millions of pounds.’   

It comes after the former Neighbours star was spotted for the first time without her wedding ring.

Last Saturday, Holly was spotted alone upon arrival at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 in western London, having flown in without her usual accessory (sparkler).

The couple has two daughters, Luka who is 11 years old, and Nova who is 7. Friends affirm that the duo’s top concern has always been their girls and they plan to maintain this focus during these particularly challenging times.

A source told TopMob: ‘They have been living separate lives for a long time, he’s travelling a lot.

‘Nick has businesses in Dubai and London, The Reform Party.’

A close relative, speaking to The Sun, commented on the couple’s separation: “Their primary focus is shared parenting of their two wonderful daughters.

They’ve found it challenging to maintain equilibrium due to their busy personal life which includes family obligations, public duties, and Nick’s heavy workload.

The estranged couple were last pictured together in March as they enjoyed a swanky lunch in London.

Representing the pair, a spokesperson stated, “We’re keeping this issue personal, so we won’t provide any additional statements.

In the year 2012, they got married in an extravagant ceremony worth approximately AUD$6.2 million. Notable attendees included Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell, along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

They have relished a luxurious way of life, residing in a two-story penthouse in Hyde Park that was valued at approximately £175 million (AUD$364.4 million). This penthouse holds the title as Britain’s priciest apartment.

Afterwards, they scaled back to a $20.8 million (approx.) countryside estate in the Cotswolds region, which they’ve been remodeling.

Last year, I, a die-hard fan, couldn’t help but be amazed when Mr. Candy presented his wife with a staggering £26million (AUD$54.1 million) superyacht. This, despite the fact that this lovely mother-of-two had once shared her struggles with seasickness in the past.

Earlier this year, a businessman who had donated large sums to the Conservative party in the past, assumed the role of treasurer for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party.

It is no secret that both him and his ex-spouse, who is known for her singing and acting careers, have openly expressed their support for Mr. Farage. In fact, they dined together with Mr. Farage and then-President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida during 2022.

Additionally, she had the role of organizing charity events supporting the Reform Party, and she was among those present when Mr. Farage resumed his position as their leader last year.

Valance launched her acting career in 1999 and played Felicity Scully in Neighbours until 2002.

In a television appearance last year, I found myself drawing some controversy when I referred to environmental activist Greta Thunberg as a “spiritually awakened young spirit,” rather than my original choice of words which were perceived as unkind and disrespectful. I later clarified that my comment was not intended to belittle her impact or the urgency of the climate crisis, but rather, I expressed concern about Australia becoming overly sensitive and quick to label issues as ‘woke’. My intention was never to offend Greta Thunberg or her supporters; I hold great admiration for her work.

Holly expressed her confusion to podcast host Christopher Hope about why Greta Thunberg, a climate activist, is often portrayed as a powerful and revered figure in classrooms, comparing her to a “passionate yet small, demon-like high priestess of climatism.
