I was so excited to see Tilly Ramsay featured in the ‘World Aquatic’ documentary series! It followed Olympian Adam’s training for the 2025 Swimming World Cup, and Tilly had a really insightful conversation with him about preparing for such a huge event. It was great to get a glimpse behind the scenes with them both.
I was so touched watching the interview with Holly on the team coach! She explained how planning the wedding alongside all of his World Cup training is definitely stressful, but they’re managing it. She even sweetly said he’s really good at just going along with her decisions, which she thinks is perfect – honestly, what a dream!
The couple plans to get married in a grand ceremony at Bath’s beautiful Saint Peter and Saint Paul Abbey next month. However, the wedding has been overshadowed by a recent and serious disagreement between Adam and his family.
Reports suggest the Peaty family are no longer attending events after it came to light that Adam Peaty’s mother, Caroline, wasn’t invited to Holly Willoughby’s hen party. The event was attended by Holly’s mother, Tana, Adam’s sister Bethany, and Victoria Beckham at Soho Farmhouse.
A new documentary offered a sneak peek at Holly and Adam’s wedding preparations while following the swim teams as they traveled across the country for their championship competition.
Holly Ramsay often talks about her life traveling with her fiancé, Adam. She introduces herself as Holly Ramsay, Adam’s partner and Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, but quickly adds that she doesn’t enjoy cooking – she’d rather eat! Her swimming is also limited to taking baths.
The couple shared a peek at their wedding preparations. Adam was looking at garden furniture online, mentioning they were creating their gift registry, and then jokingly said he hoped to receive a £2,000 Big Green Egg barbecue as a wedding present.
Speaking directly to fans, the thrilled celebrity promised a special reward to whoever sent the luxurious gift, exclaiming, ‘If I find out who sent that Big Green Egg, they’re getting the best seats in the house!’
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always asked about the best barbecues, and one I consistently recommend is the Big Green Egg. It’s a fantastic ceramic charcoal cooker – seriously, it holds heat like nothing else! Even David Beckham, a close friend of the Ramsay family, is a huge fan, and that says a lot about its quality.
Holly is sharing her reasons for the choices she made, and it comes at a sensitive moment, given the recent and upsetting news about what’s happening with the wedding.
Later in the video, Holly takes over filming, capturing Adam waving before she turns the camera to herself and announces, “We’re heading to the pool!” – a sweet way to show her excitement and support for her fiancé.
Adam happily shared that his fiancée will be traveling with him to races and competitions. He explained that while he’s competing, she’ll be in the stands, and they’ll have separate hotel rooms.
This situation is new, but from the beginning, I knew I wanted her involved. It helps me stay balanced, and it means I don’t have to be away from home for long stretches – three weeks is a long time, especially going to my fourth Olympics. Maintaining balance is really important when you’re at this level.
The couple then shared a tender kiss and said I love you.
Adam didn’t talk about his own family in the video, but Holly did share details about the Ramsay family. That includes Gordon and Tana Ramsay, and their children: Megan (27), Jack (25), Matilda (23), Oscar (6), and Jesse (2).
Oh my gosh, she told me she has FIVE siblings! Can you imagine the craziness at home? She actually said it’s kind of like being on tour with all the hustle and bustle! And she hinted at some… unique things about being with a swimmer. I’m dying to know what she meant! It sounds so intriguing, and honestly, just makes me love her even more. It’s the little details, you know?
I always need to keep snacks with me because my son gets really irritable when he’s hungry. So even when we’re going out – even if we’re headed to dinner – I have to bring something for him to munch on.
She thought about Adam’s personality, explaining that he sometimes needs to be alone. She pointed out that being on tour for three weeks, cooped up in a hotel room, can feel quite confining.
The video was released amid accusations that the couple ‘body shamed’ his mother. His family claims she wasn’t invited to their wedding because of her appearance, and that they felt she didn’t fit their desired image.
Currently, only one family member is expected to attend, as a long-standing disagreement continues between the two families.
Caroline recently spoke to the Daily Mail about the growing and difficult conflict between her family and her future in-laws.
She told us: ‘I know it’s the end.
You know, as someone who’s seen a lot of families, I always emphasize the importance of unconditional love. What I really want my son, Adam, to understand is this: no matter where life takes you, or what challenges you face, please remember I love you deeply. Your dad feels the same way. Our door is always open – you can come home and talk to me about anything, anytime. That’s a promise.
‘There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much.
I truly wish you and Holly all the best in your marriage and hope you find the same happiness my dad and I shared. I’m sharing this now because I want this whole situation to be over with.
Caroline understands how much her son’s life has changed, and her family is very worried about the Ramsay family’s power and control.
Caroline said he’s under Gordon’s control. She feels like they’re separating him from her, and that Gordon’s family is very closed off and private.
