Holly Madison Reveals Which Girls Next Door Co-star She Still Doesn’t Like
Blonde pinup Holly Madison was on top of the world 20 years ago.
In my narrative, it was during those times when I found myself in the limelight as a 45-year-old model with blonde locks, gracing the cover of Playboy and sharing romantic moments with Hugh Hefner, all while being part of the series “Girls Next Door.
On her reality TV series, the main cast members included Kendra Wilkinson (age 39) and Bridget Marquardt (age 51). This popular show aired for a total of 91 episodes from 2005 to 2010.
However, the journey wasn’t always trouble-free between the trio of women vying for Hefner’s affection and space in his publication.
Or:
Their relationship was not always free of difficulties as they battled for Hefner’s notice and a spot in his magazine.
Or:
Things didn’t always go smoothly between the three women fighting for Hefner’s affection and a feature in his magazine.
It appears that a strain developed between Holly and one of her co-stars following the conclusion of their series, as she revealed to Life & Style Weekly.

It was Kendra.
As for Kendra, someone I used to engage with frequently, our paths seemed to diverge during the time of the spinoffs, an era where she was immersed in hers, while I was deeply engrossed in mine.
Kendra’s show was called Kendra and Holly’s was named Holly’s World.
‘All the productions share the same executive producer, and at times, the real-life drama behind the scenes of these reality shows can interfere significantly.’
In 2016 Holly put Kendra down in her second memoir, The Vegas Diaries.
Kendra has said awful things about Holly in the past.
Over a decade past, the star of Kendra on Top posted on Twitter that Madison was not “terrified” while residing at the Playboy Mansion.
‘She wasn’t in fear with that d*** in her a** for a paycheck,’ Wilkinson claimed.
It appears that individual is feeling uncomfortable, possibly even ashamed, since it seems she was caught engaging in unsavory acts by many people. The role she played was a clean-up crew member whose responsibility was to revitalize Mr. Hefner and tidy up after him using her mouth. (I’ve replaced offensive language with a more general description of the situation.)

Holly made a statement to E! News, saying: “I’ve penned a book titled ‘The Vegas Diaries,’ which delves into letting go of the past and embracing the future. It’s about overcoming one’s struggles and standing tall with pride. I’ve faced my inner battles and emerged victorious. Now, I strive to be the graceful and compassionate person I aim to become.
The star went on to say: “I refuse to participate in a lopsided dispute or conflict that aims to belittle and humiliate another woman. If there are lingering problems, counseling can help. Perhaps you might want to give it a try.
After reflecting, Kendra clarified, ‘I realize my last posts may have seemed excessive, and I’m truly sorry for that. Defending myself and my convictions can be challenging sometimes. My apologies.’
Afterward, Holly made a comment to E! News: “I have no interest in a one-sided dispute or conflict that is used to belittle and demean another woman. If there are any lingering issues, I recommend seeking counseling. It might be beneficial for you.
Last year Holly said she does not talk about diets in front of her children.
The star is a parent to two kids: Eleven-year-old daughter Rainbow and seven-year-old son Forest, who she had with her former partner, Pasquale Rotella.
The stunning woman clarified that although she prioritizes a balanced diet and regular exercise for good health, she prefers not to talk about these topics when her children are around.
The TV producer shared with UsWeekly that they are strongly committed to a balanced diet, and they make sure to avoid discussing topics like dieting, weight, or related subjects when their children are around.
Previously disclosed that she has autism, Madison additionally mentioned that she began dieting at the age of 11 and expresses a desire for her children to avoid following the same path.

She mentioned: ‘Whenever someone tries to push an unhealthy option my way, I simply respond with, “I’m focusing on my health right now.”‘
Previously on “The Girls Next Door,” it was shared that she aims to spare her daughter from experiencing troubles related to body image.
And she does not want her to seek ‘validation’ through her appearance.
That is because Holly started to experience things like that when she was her age.
She expressed concern about her not developing an excessive preoccupation with how she appears, or seeking attention or affirmation by focusing on her physical appearance.
‘I think we’ve been really successful so far.
At her age, she seems to be doing much better than I was at that point in life without a doubt. By the time I was 11, I was already attempting to present myself in a certain manner.
Recently, Holly was questioned about whether the rumor was accurate that the house’s plumbing needed to be upgraded due to a high number of female occupants experiencing vomiting, which suggested bulimia. She acknowledged this situation as ‘regretful’ to witness so many women struggling during their stay in the mansion at that time.

In her podcast, “Girls Next Level with Bridget Marquardt,” she discussed the matter with employees and others present at the supposed incident. It appears that it was indeed a topic of conversation.
During my stay, some individuals faced severe eating issues, which was consistently disheartening to witness.
On Wednesday, Holly appeared on Good Morning America and discussed her upcoming true crime series, titled “Lethally Blonde,” which is set to debut on Monday, March 25, at 10/9 central time.
In this sequence, Madison discusses instances where individuals with grand ambitions and lofty goals become ensnared in a harsh reality that capitalizes on their sexuality.
This comes after Holly revealed she has autism.
Earlier this year, the striking woman who once dated Playboy’s founder, revealed that she had received a diagnosis following years of questioning why she seemed somewhat unique compared to others.
Madison clarified that she has ‘high-functioning autism within the executive realm.’ Essentially, she emphasized that her condition is less severe compared to others, so she doesn’t represent everyone with autism.
‘They call it a spectrum for a reason,’ she added.
The powerhouse of reality TV mentioned on the podcast Talking To Death that she is able to carry on with her daily activities and do things as one would typically describe as ordinary.
She’s shared that throughout her life, she’s tended towards introversion and found it challenging to engage in casual conversations with others. With her recent diagnosis, she feels she has a better understanding of herself and is more forgiving towards herself: “I can apologize if I accidentally interrupt someone or speak over them, explaining the reason for my behavior,” she mentioned.

When she was a child she would ‘zone out a lot’ and had a hard time picking up on social cues.
In her younger years, she believed one possible explanation for feeling unique was her childhood spent in Alaska followed by relocation to Oregon.
In 2021 on the Call Her Daddy podcast Madison said she was ‘not neurotypical.’
She pondered over whether she might potentially have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a category that includes what was formerly known as Asperger’s Syndrome.
‘I think because I’m more quiet, I’ve only recently learned to make eye contact,’ she shared.
I tend to spend a lot of time lost in thought, which others might perceive as indifference or rudeness. They may interpret it as, “You don’t seem very engaged with me, and that makes you annoying.
She mentioned that she often tends to speak before others have finished talking, as she struggles to determine when it’s appropriate to stop speaking, which has caused frustration among people.
‘They think I’m, like, stuck up or snobby or think I’m better than everybody else,’ she said.

The ex-Playboy Playmate expressed, “I seem to have a different approach when it comes to socializing compared to others, but please understand this isn’t a reflection on you.” She found it helpful to clarify her perspective.
As I immersed myself in my role at Hooters, I found enjoyment in embracing the unique character we were encouraged to portray.
The numerous guidelines for interacting as a Hooters girl made it easier for me to handle various social scenarios, as if I had a set of instructions to follow.
I encourage my friends to practice patience when interacting with individuals on the autism spectrum, as you may not be aware of the challenges they face or the extent of their social capabilities.
Approximately a year has passed since Hefner’s well-known partner stated that she had not previously engaged in casual sex and identified as ‘somewhat asexual’ prior to the night she spent with the magazine founder.
She confided that she’d never engaged in casual sexual encounters with anyone prior. She hinted at feeling quite asexual throughout her life, suggesting she might not have been fully prepared for such experiences.
In the year 2000, Madison turned 21 and started living at the Playboy Mansion, eventually becoming Hefner’s primary companion or significant other.

In an interview for ‘Secrets of Playboy’, Madison expresses that she was attracted to seeking the limelight as she believed becoming famous might provide an easy route to forming bonds with others, since she felt that way.
‘I wasn’t physically attracted to Hef, but I did find him very charming.’
The star asserted that Hefner proposed giving her a Quaalude, a potent sedative banned since 1984, during their first night out with him and his other companions. He reportedly said, “They used to call these ‘thigh-openers’ in the ’70s.” (Informal: She stated that on their first night out with him and his friends, Hefner suggested she take a Quaalude – a banned sedative since 1984. He was said to have referred to them as ‘thigh-openers’ in the ’70s.)
In a shift since his father’s passing in 2017, Cooper Hefner has spoken up against the documentary, expressing his views on Twitter by stating that the portrayed stories serve as an example of ‘regret turning into revenge.’
The documentary includes Hefner’s ex-butler, who alleges that his employer often hosted events known as ‘pig nights’, where he would invite prominent and celebrity acquaintances and covertly record them engaging in sexual activities with prostitutes he had hired for the occasion. Moreover, a former assistant alleges that Hefner regularly consumed Dexedrine daily to stay awake.
Today, the Playboy magazine we know isn’t the same as Hugh Hefner’s Playboy. We believe and uphold the truth of these women’s accounts and stories, and wholeheartedly back those who bravely speak out about their experiences.
As reported by Cosmopolitan, Madison pursued her combined degree in psychology and theater from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, having previously studied at Portland State University.
As a devoted admirer of the Playboy lifestyle, I honed my skills as both a waitress at Hooters and a model, eagerly awaiting an invitation to the hallowed grounds of the Playboy Mansion. One fateful day, I received a coveted invite from none other than Hefner’s personal physician – a dream come true for this ardent fan!
As per Madison’s 2015 book “Down the Rabbit Hole”, it was on her first night sharing a bed with Hefner and other women, which was part of his regular ritual, that she requested to reside in the mansion. She was 21 years old at the time.
