Back in 2017, Team Cherry unveiled their initial Hollow Knight game. Fast forward eight years, and the long-awaited sequel is now ready for release – Hollow Knight: Silksong. However, you might wonder why there was such a delay in development… The answer lies in the intricate details and refinement that Team Cherry has put into crafting this next chapter in the Hollow Knight universe.

During an interview with Bloomberg, the co-founder of Team Cherry Studio shared that there were no hurdles in creating the game. He put it simply, “It never encountered any roadblocks or issues,” Gibson said. Instead, he clarified, “we’re a compact team and games require extensive time to develop.
