Hold Your Breath trailer: Sarah Paulson is haunted by an evil force in a dust storm

As a seasoned gamer and horror enthusiast with a penchant for the macabre, I can hardly contain my excitement about Sarah Paulson’s return to the screen in the upcoming psychological horror-thriller, “Hold Your Breath.” With her impressive portfolio spanning multiple seasons of “American Horror Story” and her chilling performance as Nurse Ratched in “Ratched,” it’s safe to say that she’s the queen of keeping us on the edge of our seats.

Get ready, folks! One of our cherished actresses known for her chilling roles is making a return to our screens in no time. We’re referring to the multi-talented Sarah Paulson, who has won both Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. Her upcoming project is a Hulu psychological horror-thriller movie titled “Hold Your Breath” where she will be taking center stage. The spine-tingling official trailer has been released, so don’t miss out on it below!

First known as “Dust”, the horror movie “Hold Your Breath” was jointly directed by Karrie Crouse and Will Joines, with a screenplay penned by Crouse during her time at the Sundance Institute Writer’s Lab. This is their first feature film as directors. The duo had previously collaborated on the 2017 sci-fi short film titled “Propagation”. (Paraphrased)

Amidst the turbulent dust storms of the 1930s Oklahoma, I find myself following a worried mother named Margaret, who begins to believe that an ominous presence lurking within these tempests is targeting her loved ones. In this gripping tale, Paulson, whom you may know from her captivating performances spanning nine seasons of Ryan Murphy’s chilling anthology series “American Horror Story,” and her memorable portrayal of Nurse Ratched in the brief but intense Netflix psychological thriller series “Ratched,” takes center stage as Margaret.

Moreover, she played the role of Linda Tripp in “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” which is the third installment of the true crime series “American Crime Story.” Alongside Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford from “Welcome to Chippendales,” Ebon Moss-Bachrach from “The Bear,” Bill Heck from “Locke & Key,” Amiah Miller from “My Best Friend’s Exorcism,” and Alona Jane Robbins from “Law & Order” are part of the cast for “Hold Your Breath.

There’s no question among us that the movie “Hold Your Breath,” featuring Paulson and an intriguing concept, is bound to be a success. It’s set to premiere on Hulu on October 3, 2024, which happens to be Halloween – perfect timing for adding it to your watchlist!
