Initially, the championship match of the HoK Invitational Midseason 2024 was intended to include the KPL Dream Team as champions. However, since the HoK Championship 2024 and the KPL Grand Finals were both scheduled for the same month, the team opted to relinquish their spot in the former tournament on a voluntary basis.

Unlike past tournaments which followed a single-elimination format with Best of 5 series, there’s a possibility that this tournament could feature a double-elimination format with Best of 5 matches instead.
