Hoda Kotb shares rare glimpse into her Long Island beach house as the Today host celebrates her 60th birthday with her daughters and her mom
As a dedicated follower and admirer of Hoda Kotb, witnessing her 60th birthday celebration was nothing short of heartwarming. Her life, marked with resilience, love, and unwavering positivity, is an inspiration to many.
On a tranquil Friday morning, Hoda Kotb posted pictures of her 60th birthday celebrations, spending time with loved ones unwrapping gifts and taking a well-deserved break from work at her stunning Long Island waterfront retreat.
The TV show host, fresh from being reunited with her daughters following her stint in Paris for the 2024 Olympic coverage, appeared content and at ease while celebrating a significant birthday with her daughters – Haley, aged seven, and Hope, aged four.
In the initial snapshot, an enthusiastic Hoda is clearly displayed, showcasing a newly-opened present that seemed to consist of three individual necklaces. As Hope and Haley gazed at her affectionately, they gently placed their hands on her knees.
In a relaxed attire consisting of blue shorts and an oversized T-shirt, Hoda, a mom of two, was seated at a dining table, enveloped by balloons and seemingly utilizing her mother’s wheelchair as a chair.
In another image, Hope is pictured with a cluster of balloons, while another photo captures her and her elder sister snuggling with their grandmother, Sameha, who is Hoda’s mother.
In the last photo of the post, labeled as “Great birthday morning!” by Hoda, we see her with her brother Adel and another female family member. (She added a kissy emoji at the end.)
2.5 million people swiftly expressed their sentiments in response to Hoda’s post, sending warm greetings such as: “Wishing you a magical 60th!”, and “Best wishes on your special day! I hope it’s as fantastic as you!”
A third commented: ‘Happy Birthday Hoda! Have a wonderful time celebrating with your beautiful family,’ and a fourth added: ‘Happy birthday to one of the greatest humans out there!!’

Hoda Kotb’s Today Show co-host Al Roker shared a video montage filled with pictures of their years together and wrote: ‘It’s impossible not to smile around @hodakotb! Wishing a joyous birthday to someone who’s brought laughter, tears, and countless memories. I love you.’
The official Instagram account for The Today Show posted a series of photos celebrating Hoda’s 60th birthday, affectionately referring to her as “our beloved gadget whiz and America’s encourager,” with the handle @hodakotb.

More recently, Hoda expresses openly that her life has improved significantly as she’s grown older, showing no apprehension towards reaching the milestone of sixty.

In conversation about her birthday from last year, she expressed on Today with Hoda & Jenna: ‘What struck me is that I turned 59 this time around, and I’m thrilled to have reached the age of 59.’
“She acknowledged feeling terrific about it,” she said. “And while I understand that aging can be concerning for some, 59 years old is truly remarkable.”
Hoda reminisced about the blessings life had bestowed upon her, musing internally, “At 59, I am blessed with two remarkable children, my mom, my sister, my brother, my nieces, and my sister-in-law. And as I reflect, I can’t help but smile, closing my eyes as I do so.”
